That's a case of "positive discrimination" biting them in the butt. Women have to be "perfect" all of the time. That is why male characters are more dynamic and interesting more often than not. Rhianna Pratchett and the Reboot Tomb Raider writers are in part to blame for this. They set the foundation of how Action Female Characters need to be and now Mirror's Edge has the same type of character and maybe even other games. While Lara and Faith aren't "perfect" they are always infallible and mistakes are always out of their control, their morals and ethics are never questioned other than "I feel bad." Where as in something like TellTales The Walking Dead, the main character Lee has a dark and disturbing backstory and we are left to decide whether to forgive him or not, in The Last of Us Joel makes decisions that are meant to make us question whether he is a good guy or not. None of this happens in games that SJW's support, heck even Uncharted brings Nathan Drake into the whole morality of running around with Sully in Uncharted 3, wait... Even children's cartoons question all of this stuff. In Tomb Raider Underworld we even questioned whether Lara was doing the right thing. The idea that people would think low of women just because a female character makes mistakes, is dirty, evil or just a horrible person is inane. SJW's want more interesting female characters but they don't want any to be interesting. Nowhere is this more blatant than in comedy. You have characters like Homer and Bart who are portrayed as stupid and dysfunctional while Marge and Lisa are portrayed as more competent and near perfect. They're such flat characters whose only flaw is that they occasionally nag the stupid male characters. Male characters are portrayed in a variety of ways that makes them more dynamic and interesting than viewers which is why people prefer Homer and Bart over Marge and Lisa. Only in really messed up shows do you get women who aren't portrayed perfectly and even then the men are worse. Even the male leads are dumb or pussified most of the time. The only male characters who seem to have backbones are villains.

The actual feminist is what the SJW's want. Otherwise just make a good female character. We don't have special terms for a good male character other than that they're a good character. They just need to grow some balls and take more risks in this regard. I think it's better in the long run as it does a big favor to creative endeavors.

I'm saying (which I think you agree with) the "feminist" ideal of "equality" and "strong women" is more of a farce; it's always been about trying to make men look bad and women look good.
Why does it need to be a "feminist" character? Why not just make a good character? I don't see female characters I enjoy as a "feminist" character. I don't want the "I'm a strong woman" stuff thrown in my face constantly which is what these works do. We don't have a special term for male characters so why do females need them?

What do you mean "allowing choice"?
When I say actual feminist I mean what feminists do in real life. They can say they're about equality and other stuff but they have never been about it in the first place. Feminism was always a dumb movement. Just because a group says they want something doesn't mean they're actually doing it in real life. Giving women special treatment is not equality.
A good female character is a good female character. Feminist characters are just the PC bs we get now where women can do no wrong. Many groups throughout history say they want one thing and do another. Do Social Justice Warriors actually want social justice or to push an agenda?

Well it shouldn't be a woman's choice of how she dresses for a job. It should be up the employer to decide the code of dress for his company. Whether it's an office, construction yard, or Hooters. I'm not fond of the government telling me how to run my business or who to hire. I want the best person for the job and I don't want people wearing attire that's inappropriate for the job. Other than that I don't care.
People can say a movement is about one thing but they're often scapegoats for another. This feminism was tried in Russia and ended in a disaster because it was all about getting the government in our lives and removing children from their fathers. I mean nothing equal about ridiculous marriage laws we've had for decades, or that women don't get drafted but men do, or the fact that women get special privileges that men don't. We've never had equality. I want equality for all regardless of gender and race. That's all I'm saying.

That's why I hate these laws, they cause far more harm than they help. They also lead to lawsuits.
Good we agree then.
