Coming from a former collectivist. I have to tell you that ultimately in life you have to be yourself. No one is like you, because no one has seen what you seen the way you've seen it or even live your experience. Also, the older you are the more varied your experience will be. But, when people try to fit in. They file down all the traits that make them unique just to fit in.

I think life in an individual sense is definitely more rewarding than subscribing to a group and letting them think for you. It also leads to more prosperity as it rewards creativity and allows people to keep what they earn. Life by the collective robs people of their own free thought and has them subscribe to some higher power, which in reality is a lower power. Yet the majority constantly wants this because they are afraid they can't compete or simple envy. Which is why civilizations constantly fail.

Alot of people think that because a worldview is popular or because "Everyone thinks so". That it means something is, right. Collectivism is really anti-intellectual, because it In reality most poplar opinion is rarely right.

Collectivism is really anti-intellectual, because it In reality most poplar opinion is rarely right. It also doesn't represent quality. It's funny because the majority like to fall back on it just because there are more people agreeing, which doesn't actually explain why something is right. Notice the things that most do is not about understanding anything, but fitting in. This is why democracy is a bad idea.
