Boon has confirmed scorpion lol. 24 Star Kiefer Sutherland Involved in Mortal Kombat Game “I did Mortal Kombat, and that's such a huge game." In a recent interview with IGN, actor Kiefer Sutherland confirmed his involvement in an upcoming Mortal Kombat game.
While discussing his role as Big Boss in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Sutherland said, “I did Mortal Kombat, and that's such a huge game, but it’s so not like [MGS5]."
Sutherland's been working on Metal Gear Solid for over a year, but said he completed Mortal Kombat "pretty quickly compared to [MGS5].” He did not specify his role.
Warner Brothers was unreachable for comment, and did not respond to email inquiries about Sutherland's involvement and NetherRealm's future projects. The Mortal Kombat developer most recently created Injustice: Gods Among Us.www.ign.com/articles/2014/02/22/24-star-kiefer-sutherland-involved-in-mortal-kombat-gameAlso, C-master. Here's the "creative zoning" I was talking about.

Overhead fireballs, etc. All are cool.

The playstyles are just so different it's crazy and they build them all from scratch so fast. Plus with injustce you had the interactables which surprisingly weren't broken. What makes NRS so good is that they try to bridge the gap between the hardcore player and the casual by trying to appeal to both. They'll make things like challenge tower of the single player experience and they'll do things like release frame data for the hardcore fan.

That's one thing I do like, the fact that they try to make a game enjoyable to play on its own. That's what I liked about Alpha 3. Capcom just does vs, arcade, and online. I wish they'd put in more effort, but I guess they just don't need to.

Capcoms complacency is gonna come back and bite them in the ass one day. But, let's wait until MK10 comes out for now.

The style changes were cool though. Yea, those were more of a casual thing that wouldn't be on in tournament play. I'm not a big fan of "items" and "interactables" in fighting games, but I'm fine if you can turn them off. I would like a weapon style, but I don't think the game needs multiple styles, just take the best parts of them and merge them and then add a weapon style IMO.

Items and stuff tend to be broken. But, Injustice managed to get into Evo and WNF with them because they figured out how to balance them. I was worried at first but it seems like the guys in NRS know what they're doing. I dunno.

If it makes them money, they host it.

Yeah, but I doubt boon is gonna make a barebones mk game. It has to have some gimmick.

Even with cross overs you can see them apply their trade. MK Vs Dc for example had terrible gameplay compared to MVC. But, there was an effort on the story which was better than MVC. They actually explained why Sub Zero and Scorpion could beat Superman for example.

I liked the SF2 movie, the SF2V show was excellent as well, as was Alpha and the SF4 movies. The live action one was hammy, and the Chun Li one was bad.
