Not a fight, but which rivalry is better iyo? I think Ryu and Ken have a rivalry in the more classic sense. Sub Zero and Scorpion are interesting in the fact of the double killing and that Scorpion had (depending on continuity) decided to be on non aggressive terms with the younger Sub Zero, after he had killed the original Sub Zero (and he became Noob Saibot).

Yeah, Ryu and Kens rivalry is more of a occasional sparring match between best friends.
Sub Zero and Scorpion is a blood-feud that's spilled over into two individuals and occasionally ends in the death of one of the two. It's more of a war tbh. But, the fight between the two have been presented better in other media imo.

I think it's done fine in things like SF: 2v, but in live action, I like MK better in terms of that, though they didn't focus on it much in the first movie.

I actually mean't in the games. They're always fighting each other and the fights are more conclusive.

Nowadays the Ryu/Ken rivalry isn't as big of a deal, even Ken admits that Ryu is better since he spends more time fighting. I haven't really seen Sub Zero and Scorpion have a real rivalry in most continuities either (not since the early games).

I mean't in the sense of how they're always fighting:

Well you mean in general. I'd say that Scorpion and Sub Zero had a hostile rivalry, where Ryu and Ken's was friendly (Akuma and Gouken's was not).
That said, they were supposed to go through changes. After Scorpion discovered that Quan Chi killed his clan, he was supposed to make a pact to no longer harm the younger Sub Zero. I guess they have them fight for coolness/traditional sake.
