You noticed because you're brilliant. How much more is there? Thanks for the compliment. Well, there are techniques about aura flow as well. You can partition you aura and it determines how much defense you have. Before I got into this, I forgot about one basic technique call "Ren". It allows you to produce more aura all over you body. When you maintain Ren for a long period of time it's called "Ken". When two people are using Ken and attack each other, they don't take remarkable damage because the aura is evenly distributed all over their vessel. If they want to injure their opponent as he uses Ken they need a higher concentration of aura channeled into their: fist or weapon. This goes back to what I said about partition. They can partition more aura to a specific part of their body or weapon. This technique of partitioning aura to specific parts of the body is called "Ryu". If they concentrate all their aura to one specific spot then it's called "Kou". What is the highest manifestation of this seen in the series thus far?

\What is the highest manifestation of this seen in the series thus far? Gon vs Knuckle did a fair bit about pointing out Aura flow. Gon needed to put more aura in his guard to overcompensate for the fact that knuckle was a better fighter. But, knuckle could easily read his combat movements by reading the flow of his aura and took him out asap.

So it was a double subversion essentially? It's hard to explain, but he put more aura in his guard to compensate for the fact that knuckle could read his aura. He also tricked knuckle with his aura flow as well. It was a brilliant fight that showed Gon is a fighting genius.

I thought you were saying Gon lost. I guess I misread it.

No, you didn't misread. Knuckle was beating Gon. However, he also underestimated him. The entire fight was because knuckle wanted to show Gon that his fighting method is too sloppy. First was his predictable aura flow. Then it was his Hatsu since Gon like most shonen fighters shouts the name of their attacks all while posing dramatically before he strikes. Knuckle was trying to teach him that having a fancy pose and shouting is tactically unsound. However, Gon used this to fake out knuckle. It's a really complex fight.

I like the way this stuff sounds then. What are your favorite parts of the show?

I like the main characters. The show has the same 4 main characters approach that yyh had. But, the cast tends split up often.

I hear that you don't have as much "humor" as in YYH in regards to characters. You know stuff like Hiei and Kuwabara arguing even though they're friends in a way. I hear there's a lot less of that in HxH.

That's not necessarily true, leorio is the Kuwabara of the group. He's a hot head, but the cast gets along too well sometimes. The Hiei of the group: Killua, cares about Gon alot. It's not like Hiei and Yuusuke lol.

I mean that "best friends but enemies on the outside" type of thing that you see in a lot of shows. I hear it's more serious in that regard. Or less conflicting.

Oh, well yeah. They don't have that. Back to the topic of dbz vs yyh, how did you feel about how they handled death in the series? Who do you feel did a better job?

HXH has a large cast and oftentimes doesn't hesitate to thin out the herd. But, they're about the same tbh.

Did I? MY bad, what I was trying to get across was that they handle death roughly the sameway at times emotionally.

I must be tired lol.
I gonna be bias and say YYH. Even though, you had resurrections like Genkai and Yusukes. By the end of the frieza saga the deaths in DBZ became worthless.
