kof 98umfe and kof 2002 um coming to steam

Well im looking forward to buying and playing these 2 games. Hopefully they will use ggpo for the netcode although kof 13 netcode was actually pretty decent aslong as you were running a wired connection, forwarded your ports and had a pc that was past recommended specs.

Excuse my ignorance, but are there specific ports I need to forward for certain games on Steam? Does KOF13 have its own set of ports I need to open, or is it just a Steam thing?

You just forward the ports for those games. There's a guide for it online. You don't "need" to do it but it can definitely help.

Yea the JennyCage tutorial is spot on. I remember him referencing the portforward website

I thought that website had the instructions for everything updated.
