Yeah, consoles waste too much space. After a while they just become paper weights.

Yeah, consoles waste too much space. After a while they just become paper weights. The people at the KI thread are admitting that consoles are scams. My point is that I'm not buying a console to play one game. Hell my PS3 has 70 games and it's collecting dust. Might as well make some money off of them. If a PS3 emulator comes out for the PC, the PS3 will go too.

^ I love your nononsense personality. If something better comes along then yeah. I've heard Sony might ditch consoles all together.

That's the best type of funny though. I have the PS3 for a few exclusives. I mainly like Ratchet and Clank (I can get the PS2 versions on PC no problem), and Infamous. I have the fighters on there, but a lot of them are on PC except P4A and Marvel. I guess TTT2 as well but that won't be a problem. I haven't touched it in months. Where did you hear about them ditching consoles?

So I guess Sony is starting to realize what others have been saying? Consoles are stupid and limiting. You have legions of Xbox fanboys who don't want PC players to have KI just to justify their purchase. Other franchises have gotten smart and are porting their games to PC. These companies should just make their games for PC/mobile and then you download them. If they want to make parts, just do that. Some people are speculating another gaming crash like we had in the past with Atari lol.

If another crash does happen. I doubt consoles will come back.

Back then the market crashed because over-saturation of bad games. Nintendo saved the market by creating a standard practice of Nintendo quality where games had to be approved by Nintendo if they were to be on their console. This weeded out alot of bad games.
The situation now is more about the role of consoles rather than games.

The situation now is more about the role of consoles rather than games. You still do have a lot of bad games though. You did also have a huge saturation of consoles at the time. Nintendo came when things died down a bit and released some great stuff, along with the bad. Same with Genesis. Now consoles are more limiting and crappy than anything. Just too much nonsense and I think they've reached their point. We're past the golden age.

Agree'd about passing the Golden Age, gaming was mostly arcade centric: remember 90's arcades even until the early 00's. Once arcades died, consoles died as well. I don't think Gaming has a future. Not when you make money off cheap mobile games lie angry birds. Man, thank God I grew up in the time I did.

The SNES/Genesis/PS1 days are over. You don't think gaming has a future or console gaming?

Console gaming is dead, but I worry about high end games as well. Then again, they make so much money.

Ebay has a 180 return policy? WTF?
I did well on my game sell (well I shipped it off, just have to make sure he holds on to it) but 180 days is ridiculous and a huge liability.
I'm not liking this at all.

eBay continues to make things better for the buyer rather than the seller.

It seems like this country is becoming more and more loser friendly. You buy something, use it up, wear it down, and then send it back 6 months later when it was used? Even stores don't have more than a month. This will just drive sellers away unless they are big Chinese merchants who sell in bulk. People will also rise their prices to compensate for the risk.
Ebay should have it neutral based on the burden of proof. Right now I can buy a laptop or something and take it and say it never got to me and get a refund. This makes no sense. Too many scams.
I've been selling my stuff off and doing well with it problem free thus far. One can only hope that it goes well.
I do plan on selling my pokemon cards off after the consoles. They're easy to ship as well. I've had them for ages. The consoles were very nice but shipping it all is a hassle. I'm only down to my last bits now and I did sell my PS3 as well. Better to do it in small bundles than large ones because you make more money that way.
