Like ten minutes. I'm going to ink it. I hate inking, but it makes it look soooooooo good. Inking is fun, you might just need good pens. If you don't get used to inking, then you won't like shading. But that's a really good piece of artwork for a ten miute job. |

I can't shade to save my life. I have no eye for it. You just have to practice and get used to how the lights would look and from what direction. For years I'd just shade all over the place, even though it looked good. I eventually made it more realistic though. It takes time to master. Especially with your own work, I advice shading other characters to get a feel for it. |

As I started inking it, I was like "Duuuuuuuude, there's no way this beaver could bring you bad news! And he's such a hard worker!" I mean just look at him, all happy and giving you your mail, with his little bag. I just want to give him a hug.
