I looked up my package tracking number using theupsstore.com and it says its intransit and the carrier is usps. I called both stores (usps and ups) and they said that my tracking number is invalid. How come i could look it on their site yet they cant. I contacted the sender and he went to the usps store and the lady told him that my package was put in the classified items and it would ship yesterday. I didnt recieve it yesterday. The package was shipped on jan 30th. The sender is an hour away from where i live how come its taking so long? Hmm, is this something your ordered on Ebay? It could be that they haven't shipped it yet and gave a fake number.

I did he still messages me and he's been keeping contact with me There have been times where the carrier just doesn't update the tracker and then it shows up at the very last minute. I hate when that happens. It's usually with USPS. Like the package I'm waiting for won't have an update until it's actually there which is really annoying. Why even have that method of tracking.

What kind of shipping speed did he use? Standard?

You should be able to cancel your purchase if it comes to that. I contacted the guy just now and he said he will contact them tomorrow to see what they have to say. I just don't understand how when I call ups and usps they say its invalid. It seems fishy you know

Is it possible for someone to link an item to another one from a different post office (ups and usps) for when they recieve that package then the other one gets sent after?

Not sure why it would do that if you live so close to the guy, but yea often times packages will be delivered to the post office to finish the job.

A couple of things. The tracking number wouldn't be the same for both UPS and USPS. If you can look it up on the UPS website then its their shipping number.
Sometimes UPS will also list the USPS tracking number if USPS will be making the final delivery. Not always though.
Another thing UPS does is to show that the item is at the post office when its still in transit.
Up north there are far more problems with UPS than USPS.

The UPS tracking starts with 1Z. The post office is like 9 something with a bunch of numbers following it.
Usually it will say dropped off at post office though; if it went from UPS first. After that it should just sort out and deliver if it's actually there. It shouldn't take a week for a 1 day.
If you want Kitsune you can let me check the tracking number and see if there's something you missed.
I always ship expensive larger items through UPS or Fedex and smaller items that are cheaper go through the post office. I tend to find that's the best quality/price ratio. Also if the item is really expensive I'd imagine you have to sign for it right?

I agree that the time delay shouldn't happen, but it does. That's why I try not to use UPS if at all possible.
If the package has insurance on worth more than 200, then it requires a signature. Otherwise the sender has to request signature confirmation.

Sounds like you might be dealing with a scammer. I agree that the time delay shouldn't happen, but it does. That's why I try not to use UPS if at all possible. If the package has insurance on worth more than 200, then it requires a signature. Otherwise the sender has to request signature confirmation. Well I mean I don't have time delays with UPS, I find them to be consistent. Now if it's passing through different hands there's a higher chance for issues but it's not a UPS problem. The thing about UPS is they deliver later in the day like Fedex, I hate calling when I'm at home to see when these places deliver and all of them are like "Sometime today". So with UPS if I want it I just go to the facility up the road and get it a 9am (hold for pickup). I find they update their tracking more reliably. Like Kitsune sent me an item and I got no updates from it until it arrived in Atlanta and that was the day after. When I went there and picked it up (thankfully I didn't have to wait) they then said it was "delivered". That's the issue I have with USPS. The other post office does seem to be better somewhat so I'll switch to them this month since my box expires in March.

My issue is always with UPS. Once its out of their hands I never have any problems. It just seems that UPS has problems making timely deliveries up here.
I've gotten items from China to NY in a third of the time going from PA to NY. That is USPS vs UPS, and that is sad.
But I did receive it, its installed and will hopefully be sold when I get back from vacation.
Was this item purchased through PayPal or credit card?

They worked great with me for international stuff. I didn't know UPS did China stuff specifically, I thought it was flown over here. I've had wildly different time with international stuff. Some takes weeks, my art tablet took like 3 days, which was faster than I often get nationally, heh.
