Yes comics are fictional and there is suspension of disbelief but this is one that always annoyed me.
People using street level characters like Batman, Batgirl, Daredevil, etc, and trying to account their "bullet dodging" as an actual useable feat.
IMO no character weaker than Spider-Man should be dodging a bullet, meaning he avoided it after it left the chamber. If he didn't move-he would have been hit. More than mere "missing". Spider-Man has super speed, super reflexes, and precognitive psychic reflexes that see into the future. Wolverine shouldn't be doing it either.
I know comics maintain some suspension of disbelief and I know Batman is tougher and faster than the average human. I have no problem with him benching 800 lbs raw, whatever. However Batgirl dodging a sniper bullet after it left the chamber is just sheer bs. The bullet would kill her before the sound came out. These heroes should be killed if the bullet is on the way to the target and would have hit them before they moved. Flash can dodge it, Superman can, etc, but not Batman.
It makes no sense and should be put to rest.
Thoughts?

Bullets job in comics and most fanboys the care. It's like when wolverine carves up robots and Thor with his claws. He shouldn't have the strength necessary for that. Yet, he does it anyway.

Well I do agree that bullets are the biggest jobbers in comics- they're specifically there to show how "tough" the character is. The ones who can take the bullets ala Superman get hit anyways even if they're far faster than the actual bullet. Well I remember a debate on KMC about Wolverine cutting Thor vs Superman. The consensus was that he could cut Thor but not Superman. Depends on what the robots are made out of. What about Thing or Colossus? Opinions tend to vary there. Btw someone used the "Frieza took an explosion but Trunks killed him" argument. If that's the case why does Wonder Woman need to deflect bullets but can take hits from Superman?

The explosion argument is so stupid. Frieza was so fubared that he had to be rebuilt as a cyborg and we have no idea the extent of his injuries since he survived off-panel in the manga. It would be like claiming I "Tanked" an explosion when I'm in the hospital and needed massive amounts of surgery. Wolverine shouldn't have the strength to cut through Thor's dense body with his claws imo. The problem with versus is there's no consistent rule set and most people just interpret things however they want. Here's an example of a thread I made on that forum: lounge.moviecodec.com/vs-forum/anime-vs-comics-w-tweest-goku-vs-new-52-superman-369405/2I tried to play around with the rules a bit. DBZ tards went crazy and started claiming that the rules would make Goku building level or some crap. Versus is nothing but dumb fanboys raging against each other.

You love every bit of it though. Picking on those simpletons. It amazes me that DBZ fanboys scale like hell but don't want YYH posters to do so. You mention Sensui being planet level, holding back, and tanking Mafuukan (which is powerful enough to stop the strongest of demons) and they just go "Sensui's mesa/cliff level". But dbz characters are multi solar system? Oh I can't take anymore.

DBZ fanboys are just dumb when it comes to versus. Then again, versus is just generally stupid. I should really follow through and just quit.

You seem like a different person over there lol. Might have to get you a 12 step program. Maybe you should fill your time up with something else to keep you busy. I'm looking for some respect threads. Perhaps you'd be interested in doing some for comic/gaming/manga characters? You're knowledgeable enough.

I act differently over there because I find that being nice and polite doesn't work. But, yeah. That's not who I really am. I like discussing comics and what not. Respect threads would be great, I've read for example all of Thor Vol.2 and Vol.3. I'm gonna read Simonsons run next.

I just wanted to discuss but the idiots just wouldn't let it happen. God that awful site. You can't have good discussions with idiots. Same at gamefaqs, eventhubs, and srk. Best to ignore the morons. Go for it! I'd like to see your style.
