Hard question. I like a bit of both, depending on my mood I'll choose one or the other.
I like the art styles of both and the story lines of both. I think Manga has a wider variety of stuff and can get more adult (violence, gore, nudity) with less problems.
Comics use legendary characters and the stories never truly end so you see them forever which can be good or bad depending on how you see it.

I think it depends tbh. When it comes to the mainstream stuff I rather read a comic and I much rather talk about comics too. I generally read obscure manga titles and I never talk about Manga with other people. It's more of a personal experience, like single player vs Multiplayer.

People tend to hate the HST but like the different stuff. "Mainstream comics" on the other hand are the vast majority since they never leave for good. Episodic progression vs reset button.

Episodic progression vs reset button. I dislike HST and I find alot of the stuff people like I don't care for. I dislike talking about Manga or Anime, way too many bad experiences. Comics and movies on the otherhand are pretty fun to talk about. I generally watch what most people are watching. So, no problem with discussion. Less elitism too.

I don't know, many dumbass fanboys and whatnot in comics. Manga too. What are the few shows and stuff you like now?

I just hate talking about it, I dunno. I like Hunter X Hunter manga, but recently the anime came out. And, people have been hyping it up. I think it's okay. Ugh...

The problem with anime adaptations is they're usually 1:1, but watered down [Censored, fillers, and plotholes]. They'll even change the content depending on the timeslot. I never liked them.

Hm, they're very different, it's hard to compare...
The long serial format in a big world is one of my favorite things, and I get that from comics. On the flip side, there's many individual stories I love in manga and I like the rich art and action. My own collection is pretty split between the two.

I like the variety of manga with the really iconic characters in comics. I also like the art styles of both. It's hard for me too.

You just like the comic community more than the manga community?

I gotta say, I prefer Manga. but don't get me wrong, I also like Comics, just not as much as manga. what I like about manga: -mostly good looking characters(and cute) -releases once a week. -I relate to(some of) Japanese culture. I'm from SE-asia. what I don't like about manga: -some of their fetish gives me awkward moment. what I like about comics: -most of them are colored nicely. -more realistic events what I don't like about comics: -I don't like overly-stilized drawings(some of them). like triangle head people or rectangle nose. I don't hate them though.

Manga has a very simplistic style that is symmetrical and easy to duplicate which is what causes generic cuteness. They only look ugly if the person goes out of their way to do so, but adding detail and things like that adds a lot of cost to animation hence why they keep it simple. You just like the comic community more than the manga community? In america for sure. Because of posers?

Too many pousers and morons. Manga is very simplified art, basically cartoons. But, they have this technique called "masking". Were they'll draw a simplistic object, but when the camera zooms in they draw it super detailed. They do that with lips as well. From a distance the lips look like a simple line until they zoom in and you see the detail.

That said the masking thing is similar to what they did in Kof, except they drew over 3d models.
