The argument I'm seeing is "destroyed a solar system", or whatever. Was the SSJGod amp enough to put him to Superman strength, speed, and durability?

Well, It made him 60% of Beerus strength. Beerus could smash into planets fairly easily. So, I'd say so. DBZ fanboys still refuse to believe that before Goku was at best mountain level in terms of strength.

I understand they have to rely on some scaling, but their hypocrisy when it comes to other series doing it like YYH becomes annoying.

Honestly I don't see anything new they did. That's the problem with all of this power creep. It's all the same.

I also don't see where people got the idea he could casually destroy a solar system. They said he could destroy one if angry, but it never said instantly.

I think Flash would own Beerus and Whis easily to be honest.

Interesting that you mention that because I've noticed Flash vs Goku doesn't get that much of attention in comparison to Goku Vs Superman. With the Speed-Force he would take Goku out before he knew what happened. I think if Superman sundipped for 15 minutes he'd give Super Saiyain God a challenge like he did to Imperiex. According to DBZ fanboys Beerus is as strong as a Sky-Father.

Flash is broken as hell against 99% of all characters. He only loses to strong reality warpers, capital "G" god characters, and powerful cosmic forces because of his speed and versatility.

Superman just seems like a better parallel vs Goku because of their origin and icon status too.

Beerus *could* be a skyfather for all I know, but he hasn't shown it. I've seen the same thing earlier on just with higher power statements to be honest.

I don't know. I mean, Post Post Crisis Superman has plenty of dumb showings and if we feat skew him then he'd win. Average Superman could lose to Beerus. I just don't see anything in the movie that would give me a clear idea of how strong they were unless we use a lot of speculation and scaling.

See, the thing is Goku's feats along with most of DBZ are hyper dependent on powerscaling. It's just how the series works and people often use it to negate everything. I've had people say mind control like Professor Xaviers woldn't work on DBZ because powerscaling or Because Vegeta resisted Babidi. In DBZ if your stats are higher then you win. Battle shounen are like that mostly as well. Comics are less simplified.

This is why I don't like the Comics vs Shounen threads. But, they're super popular.

Comics tend to have more hax, whereas more battle shonen is about raw stats. I mean you have exceptions like the Sensui 7 where they weaker but had different abilities, but usually it's more vs even more.

YYH and HXH are exceptions period. That's why I love them so much, they balance out hax and Raw stats really well.

Outside of a few bad spots like Yusuke asspull they are definitely the way to watch shonen.

What language do you watch HxH in?
