Dragonball is definitely far better than DBZ. They had pacing, a plot, good fight scenes, and even comedy and some fanservice. DBZ is bleh. DBZ also had good pacing depending on the version that you watched. |

DBZ also had good pacing depending on the version that you watched. Some cut down the filler but the fights were still drawn out compared to other shows. Inuyasha is a notorious offender when it comes to pacing too. |

There's a new dragonball series coming out. It will take place after this movie, will be over 100 episodes and is written by Akira Toriyama.

Hopefully they fix one of their largest flaws and focus on other characters instead of just Goku (with a little Vegeta). Gohan, Piccolo, Trunks, Goten, etc. They could all use focus. |

The first movie and arc was good. Should have ended it there. Then again I barely watch anime anymore. I watch more live action shows these days.
Though the new season of TMNT looks good. Might watch that. DBZ is crap, though.

Everything after was meh. I like certain things in the newer series. I prefer the humor over the fighting though to be honest. Vegeta's win over Frieza wasn't even a big deal. I don't even think Battle of Gods was that great. It was decent I guess. |
