At best I have the ability to become a not-terrible sketch artist.
Why focus my energies in a field I have no interest in?
Why not develop myself further in areas I know I'm advancing in?
Seems like a wast of time to me.

I hold no lack of appreciation for great art.
One can admire art on a similar level to that of an artist without said talents.
By acquiring knowledge on the process of art, rather studying what it requires to make art in certain manners one may garner a respect for it without developing the abilities to do so.
Just because I'm not gifted with visual arts doesn't make me any less capable of enjoying it.
I have other arts to represent myself through. Writing and Music being spectacular sources for those things.

I just meant the creation of art is generally liked better when the person that creates it likes what they create, on the other hand it makes you expect more from others before you're pleased in a general sense.

See? Just by changing the word "Nazis" to "Care Bears" I improved the story tenfold because you look at the *bang* and you've got to be wondering... were the Care Bears packing heat? If so then can they still call themselves "Care" Bears? Because that doesn't seem like a very caring thing to do.
