Here are some of the interesting bits. Daigo loses to Hugo player: www.eventhubs.com/news/2015/mar/21/daigo-gets-bested-hugo-player-antwan-ortiz-ft3-set-final-round-18-ultra-street-fighter-4-shakycam-match-footage/He's done it now. Hugo player Antwan "CORN|Alucard" Ortiz has managed to defeat the legend himself, MCZ|Daigo "The Beast" Umehara, in a first-to-3 set at Final Round 18 which is happening right now in Atlanta.
Now before you get too excited, though, no, this doesn't mean that MCZ|Daigo didn't make it out of his pools or anything; the match that Ortiz won was just in casuals.
Still, MCZ|Daigo is such a dominating player that even in casuals he rarely loses. So let's not take away Ortiz's accomplishment here -- even if it's in casuals, a win is a win. Besides, Ortiz managed to do it with Hugo, widely regarded as a low-tier character, and a character that Daigo himself has previously tried to learn, but thought too weak to be viable in a competitive setting.
And thanks to Destin Williams on YouTube, who brings us this shakycam footage of MCZ|Daigo vs. Antwan "CORN|Alucard" Ortiz at Final Round 18. you can see for yourself how the match went. Check out the video below.

This proves that Evil Ryu is a high execution character and requires consistency which is why nobody really plays him at the high level. Sako does here and then but he's not as good as he once was and Daigo loses and has good nights too. He still drops a lot of stuff and frankly Evil Ryu is overrated.
