Read an intelligent thread here (for once) www.gamefaqs.com/boards/916373-pc/71492101 and it's funny because people think PC gamers just eat junk all day but many cook. I share many of the sentiments in that thread and I think it's easy and better to make your own food. It also saves money. So what do you make or eat?

Uhh.. some people do that, some don't. that's just what stereotype people would say.
I've been cooking for my family since 12 or younger, but after I graduated in high school and moved out, I only cook the ones that doesn't take much time.

I think it depends on culture and age as well. American youth are more likely to eat junk food while playing video games than older people or people from different countries.

Touche,
mostly probably, I have good American friends before, they help their parents with the chores. after everything's done, they are allowed to play their games. their parents must be really great. I don't know how they raised them. unlike in many Asian countries, you must obey your parents or the punishment is nightmare every time.

I've gotten to the point where I don't eat junk food anymore if given a choice. I rather just cook my own food or my mother cooks for me.

People make the dumbest excuses like "it'll take time to make" and "I don't have the time and it's too expensive". Making your own food allows more flexibility and is better and cheaper in the long run. People should just admit they're lazy. That processed stuff is poison and tastes awful.

You eat like a black person, lol. I make Hibachi Style Rice, Steak and Corn, and Tacos. I also do fish, salad burritos, egg rolls, etc. I make turkey dogs and turkey slices, tuna, and I make turkey bacon and eggs, pancakes (gluten free) and oatmeal (gluten free). I've done other things as well but I swap it around. My hibachi style rice is a bunch of things in one. Yes people are lazy. I'd waste more time driving to the restaurant every time I wanted to eat. I get up super early in the morning and make all of my food for two days. I cook breakfast daily. Then I eat something light at night time that doesn't require cooking.

Yeah, I'm starting to get into Taco's and Mexican food too. I also eat oatmeal, soup and stew, eggs [Soft boiled or over easy] and bacon or sausage, Homemade burgers, etc. Yeah, I definitely eat like an African American. I love American food, especially southern food, Mexican food and American Chinese food.

You southerners are lucky, you get all the best cuisine. Here in the east coast all we have are hot dogs, pizza, cheese steaks oh and clam chowder. Liberal coast sucks.

Chitlins are pig intestines and they stink. There are some good southern dishes though. Many Americans are lazy anyways and just eat out.

Yeah, most people eat out. I personally dislike it because everything is so damn expensive and you have no idea what they're putting in your food.

Do you cook your own food regularly? I make my own too. Right now I'm making turkey bacon and eggs.

They have much more flavor. As I get older, I prefer food with more flavor and I use alot of condiments.

So, you cook on the spot? What about something to keep hot food warm as well?
Thanks for the refrigeration tip btw. I wouldn't mind eating out if they actually cooked real food instead of just overly oily and sugary foods. You can't even get something descent outside of salads which I hate.

I wouldn't mind eating out if they actually cooked real food instead of just overly oily and sugary foods. You can't even get something descent outside of salads which I hate. It's insulated. Just put it in aluminum foil, make your food that morning or the night before, and store it in a cooler with the ice brix. When you're ready to eat, just cook it in the cooker and it'll be ready in about 15 minutes or so. Cook it in the aluminum foil. If you have something like Spaghetti or a salad, then put that in a bowl, and then cook it in an aluminum loaf pan. (you can get them cheap at Wal-Mart). www.amazon.com/Aluminum-Pans-12V-Portable-Stove/dp/B000LQHCJK/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1432554998&sr=8-4&keywords=aluminum+loaf+panI haven't eaten out in years. Restaurant food is trash. Unless you're going to sit down and spend tons of money, and in that case you could have already made your food lol.

Nice! Also, do you have anything small as well. How big is the portable cooker? I agree, the food they serve in public is trash. Also, they have no respect for the costumer. They serve them anything and charge them up the arse.

People don't care about quality, they just want easy hence the fast food.
