I can't believe I'm posting this.
I am currently writing...a few books.
1. A Drama/Thriller based in the early 1900'a at a place called West Baden
2. A Comedy about a hitman that has to babysit an 75 yr old Italian woman because he screwed up a job.
3. A very loose Autobiography, in fact I don't think we can call it an Autobiography. Maybe we should say it's a Comedy/Fiction. Who knows.
4. A Fantasy/Romance/Thriller thing. It sounds more boring than it actually is. It's not bad.
5. A collection of short stories about towns of Indiana. This is really as boring as it sounds but it's pretty fun for me.
6. A script for a dinner-theater
7. A script for a live version of The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe
8. A Suspense/Horror that's....actually I can't tell you what it's about, but I can tell you the title for this one. It's called: Flicker.
And no so far I'm not getting paid for any of these. I think that's everything so far.

That's neat, which ones have you completed? Hah. That's funny. I meant I've been writing these for 6 months. I haven't finished any of these yet. I estimate that they'll all be finished by July of next year at the rate I'm going right now.

How long are you anticipating each to be? Are they short works? Cumulative? Each one is a singular full size project. Some running 800 pgs some more. But not one of these projects will be running less than 800. Well, the scripts will but that's because they're going to suck.

Each story that long in a short time frame, I must say wow.... The trick is quick inspiration. It doesn't matter if the idea is good or not, you need to run with it fast and hard. If along the lines you discover the idea is no good then ditch it and move on.

I agree, with the right motif you can throw out slews of pages easily, I know that from first hand experience.
