did capcom mention anything about the ps3 sticks being able to work on the ps4 with usf4? i have been hearing some stuff about people are tired of buying sticks and i can sympathize with them on that but no one seems to have even tried to mention the pc version which not only works with ps4/xb1 and 360 controllers/ sticks it doesnt suffer from that sound glitch which is on the 360 version that they are currently using at most tournaments.

I was talking to a friend about that. Said they use consoles for convenience. Whatever that convenience is.

From what I hear people say that it's hard having to bring around a tower when you can bring a console+tv+ all the different systems to accommodate different controllers. Seems less convenient to me honestly. Especially with laptops and other devices.

Especially because the minimum specs for the game are so low. Its not like its AC-U, DA:I, or Dying Light.

Another thing is that these tournaments are often sponsored by console manufacturers. This is why they run the inferior PS3 version. Sony sponsors many of these tournaments. Throw in tradition (even though arcade cabinets are PC's) and voila, console gaming... heh.
Assassin's Creed was terrible on everything iirc though. Didn't know DA had really high requirements. It's single player though.

DA didn't need a high end so much as it needed 4 cores. Sorry I didn't specify that. SF4 people can play on ancient dual cores. So basically any computer can run it.

I haven't played it myself but I remember people were having problem with it on consoles and PC because of the bad optimization. Fighting games aren't really demanding. The more demanding stuff would probably be on PC anyways if it were competitive lol. I know some shooters are.
