Yep, just can't do it anymore. It was causing me bad inflammation. Yet another food I have to scratch off of the list.

I stopped eating corn a while ago. Still trying to give up bread completely. What are your banned foods?

I stopped eating corn a while ago. Still trying to give up bread completely. What are your banned foods? At this point, pretty much anything processed. For me I don't normally even eat corn, but I bought gluten free pancake mix, I started eating popcorn, I ate tortillas (because they were gluten free), and I ate frozen corn. This was all in the past 5-6 months. I knew corn was an allergen for many people, but it never bothered me specifically. Then one day I woke up and I felt pain in my right thumb. I always take care of myself and when I worked out I never pushed myself if I pulled something or injured myself, and I doubt it's arthritis. Then I thought about corn and it's a major allergen, along with dairy and gluten. I've taken out bread a while ago. The main use of corn is with sandwiches. I use lettuce wraps now and they taste great, way better than bread!

People are just too lazy to exercise their bodies and minds. Easier to look for a miracle cure for all if our ailments. Obviously not for you because you have kept yourself in pretty good shape. I recently lost about 20 lbs. Just by cutting back on the crap. All the while cutting back on the amount of extra work I took on. Now I have more energy and free time. I am probably going to start going back to the gym.

I recently lost about 20 lbs. Just by cutting back on the crap. All the while cutting back on the amount of extra work I took on. Now I have more energy and free time. I am probably going to start going back to the gym. You're exactly right. Many people who are fat or out of shape figure they'll just go gluten free or something and the weight will fall off. For me it was years of monitoring and changing my diet to suit my needs. Milk made me break out badly and when I stopped my skin cleared up (I wish I knew this in high school). Staying in shape is like managing money; it's a life habit. It's not something you just have an instant solution for. You have to commit to it. I was getting a lot of aches in my knees and ankle and leaving gluten (wheat) along helped with that. I hadn't really been eating corn until about 5-6 months ago and that's about how long my thumb has been hurting. So I'm pretty much sure that's the cause. When I feel better I can get more done and exercise more. Nowadays I just try to make everything from scratch although there are a few foods that still bother me that are natural like apples (give me headaches), potatoes (give me headaches), almonds (break me out), so I avoid them too. Just gotta do what works for me. Americans in general should take better care of themselves though. We eat too much processed crap in this country.

Haven't come across any food that affects me in any bad ways. You could also be so used to it that you don't notice the difference. You'd have to go without many bad foods to feel the impact of not having them.

You also have large food portions in your country when you get stuff from some restaurants & Diner's & lots of deep fried foods.

Haven't come across any food that affects me in any bad ways. Keep eating them and you'll find out the hard way like I did. American Cuisine is 99% sugar and fried. Outside of salads [Which I hate], we don't have much healthy food. Also, people eat out too much.

Well duh...if you eat them all the time all in moderation of course. Even in moderation they begin to affect you over time. Especially, as you get older. I rarely eat fast food, but there was a time when it gave me massive bloating.

You might wake up one day and feel the symptoms of your choices that you don't feel just yet. I find healthier food is better. It just requires more effort than junk.

Going completely off of corn is near impossible. They shove corn in everything from food to gasoline. Even my meat is preserved and sweetened with corn. This is ridiculous.
