That image looks a bit cartoony to me though. Not that it's necessarily bad, I just wouldn't expect it from Doom.

Yea, but it definitely has a more cartoon style. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing.

The good news is fans can just mod it if they want (on the PC at least).

Yea, it can be done usually by hacking but it's not something most people want to do or get involved in. Some require flashing your hard drive and things like that as well.
