Well, planet is just a classification. When you think about it, the term 'planet' doesn't even really matter. It is wholly subjective, used only to organize data. Well it has specifications like moons and rotating around the sun, though they can be vague themselves. I don't believe Pluto had a moon, though I could be wrong.
