So I'm HypahBomb. I frequent SRK and Ehubs a lot and figured I'd see what this lovely, colorful site was like. Should be pretty obvious but I'm a huge fighting game fan. I'd go to tournies if I could but such is life, no real spots near me. Played all my life but didn't really learn how until SFIV hit, so I'm one of those dreaded 09er's(ooooo scary.) Not as much into TV as I used to be, but there's some shows I still like to watch every now and then, and I listen to pretty much whatever music I can really vibe with, ranging from hip-hop to metal. I have a weird relationship with anime. Sometimes I love it, sometimes it annoys me to no end. I'm a pretty mellow person, willing to chat with just about anyone unless your a hardcore moron, so hit me up if you'd like, I don't bite.

Anyways,  I'm glad to be here. And in light of recent events I have only this left to say.

Glad to have you here. Do you live far away from SoCal or something?

Nothing wrong with being an 09'er as long as you have a brain lol.

I don't watch much television. I do like a lot of stuff though.

We try to keep the morons away from here.

Who are you maining in SF4?

Hmm, last time I played, I was starting to really mesh with Juri. I've always liked the character but never really knew how to approach matches with her until one day I just figured it out. She's a hell of a lot of fun. I play so many different characters in that game, but her I've played the most often recently. Before her, it was Makoto.

How are you liking Killer Instinct? I'm getting it because of Rash. Good time to be a PC gamer now.

I'd love to have Juri in V. She's definitely one of the better characters to come out of 4, and I feel like they could reimagine her fighting style in game to be even better.

I love KI. The music, the characters, the stages, they're all really well done. Got up to gold rank using ARIA(which was hard) and stick to exhibition matches to play everyone else. Sucks that Season 3 is so far away but it'll be worth the wait.

Yea the rest of the SF4 characters were kind of bad to me, perhaps except Viper who some hate. Juri will almost certainly get in. They will probably beef up her... assets as well.

I've always liked Killer Instinct. I hope these games do crossplay well.

I definitely liked the older KI games, but they've brought it back bigger and better than ever. Every time I put it in I end up playing for hours. The more people who can play the better.

Juri looks pretty good with her hair let down. I'm hoping they make her hair like that as a default if she makes it in 5.

Edit: yeah, I think it's safe to say R.Mika made me believe in the power of a nicely toned booty. Good lord.

Yea and the netcode is awesome too.

I like Juri with her hair down but that Rita style seems to be the norm. I hope she has a hair down style.

Just the right amount of firmness. They get an S+ for her.

I was never much into butts before, but I think I realize I prefer them more toned than just big. R.Mika made me realize this, and for that,  I'm thankful.

I'm seeing Combofiend use her and she seems really good so far. I tried her in Alpha 3 and she's tough to do well with, so I'm hoping her new moves really make her much better.

Well it's size and shape along with tone. Most guys haven't seen a good one or certain (black) guys show ridiculous ones. When you see a great one it's amazing.

She lost a lot of moves, but the moves she kept were really effective. That's the approach they're taking it seems.

Yeah I never just liked two giant balls of meat on a girls behind. Especially if they twerk too then it's just like..woah. too much.

She definitely needed a movelist overhaul.  She had two versions of Shooting peach, a risky command grab, and didn't really have a lot of damage going for her. Now she's taking chunks out of people from the look of it, I love it.

Yea now that asses are more mainstream, you get more variety and even races doing it. White girls love it. It all comes down to proportions and build.

I think she'll be dangerous with mixups, can't wait. No 360's either for pad players.

I actually never had too many issues doing 360's on pad. But yeah, definitely not mad at em' making them half circle back either.

I was kind of hoping her v trigger would be her second super from Alpha 3 where she starts running around and can do all those follow up attacks , but what she has now is pretty good.

I don't mind them either. I use a hitbox myself, but I prefer KoF's approach to those commands, in Kof you can just do a half circle and up though.

Some people were hoping for a ring. I wouldn't have minded that, but it might have seemed out of place.

I'm really hoping for Alex for the next grappler character. It's been more than long enough since he's been in Street Fighter.

Yea I'd take Alex over Zangief. I'm not a fan of extremely limited characters in SF. They don't have to be Kof versatile but I don't think they should be so matchup based. Dhalsim and Zangief are classic but meh.

I can do without the ring. The tag team is a great compromise.

Yeah. I love the Red Cyclone but Alex speaks to me more. Cooler look, he's also a native new yorker, and he can still be a real threat. Plus, I think he fits in line more with SFV's overall direction anyways. Although, if they revamped him somehow like they did M.Bison or Ken I wouldn't mind too much.

He has a better design and he's more versatile. I hope Capcom doesn't go overboard with SF2 characters. I'd be fine if they stopped with Vega.

I don't think we have to worry too much about too many SF2 characters. T.Hawk, Dee Jay, Fei-Long, E.Honda, Dhalsim, and Blanka I feel all have a diminishing presence in the series. T.Hawk, Fei, and DJ never did much in the series anyway, but characters like Blanka, Sagat, and Dhalsim have all but concluded their stories with IV.  Not too sure about gief personally, but I think I could live not having him in one SF game.

Fei Long has popularity for obvious reasons. I would take Karin in his place though.

I'd take Karin over him too, for pretty much the same reasons you'd take Alex over Zangief. She just has a lot more potential to be versatile and more interesting. Fei-Long is cool and all but meh.

Many of the Alpha characters had better design than the SF2 characters to be honest. I'd take Sodom over T. Hawk and Zangief too.
