Simple question? Which one do you find more corrupt? I think they're both equally as bad.

Elected officials on average tend to be worst because they don't care about the state of affairs once government changes hands. Plus they're a product of democracy which is trash. Corrupt religious leader's are comparable to bad monarchs and a dictator. So, if you're comparing those two. Then I agree they are both equally bad. Politicians are worst than both Dictators and corrupt religious leaders.

A government has a functional purpose but relies on theft and idiots in most cases. Religions rely on dogma and fear mongering with some force but isn't necessary in a functional society. Both are tax free in America though. I think they're both utterly corrupt even if they think they're doing the right thing.

In that case government is worst because a functional society needs government. So, when it goes bad we tend to feel it more.

Well modern society in the west has a government influence but many past and some present societies have religion and law as well. I think they're really just a different version of the same thing. Both put people in power over others that are impressionable and want to be led like sheep. It's ripe for abuse.

Religion is just mystical precusor to government. Just like Alchemy and Astrology were mystical precusors of chemstry and astronomy. Government is more modern and more important. Which is why we need it more.

Which is why we need it more. Perhaps, I'm sure we had some tribal law. Either way rules are used in a society and religion and government are different forms.
