shoryuken.com/2015/09/24/blazblue-chronophantasma-extend-heading-to-steam-in-january-2016/Correction: The announcement does not specifically mention Steam, only a general PC release. This article’s headline has been changed to reflect that.
Slowly but surely, Arc System Works titles are making their way to PC. After releasing BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger and BlazBlue: Continuum Shift EXTEND on Steam, Korean publisher H2 Interactive will be doing the same for BlazBlue: Chronophantasma EXTEND next year.
As the name suggests, EXTEND updates Chronophantasma with a number of gameplay adjustments as well as two more playable characters: Celica A. Mercury and Lambda-11.
Similar to past releases, this unfortunately comes just a little too late. BlazBlue’s next iteration, Central Fiction, is set to launch in Japanese arcades sometime this winter, but these plans do signal an improvement to the rather sluggish release schedule we’ve seen in recent years. With no console plans for Central Fiction in sight, Chronophantasma EXTEND will presumably remain the competitive standard outside of Japan for some time, giving players a better reason to double dip on Steam other than curiosity.
H2 Interactive’s schedule says BlazBlue: Chronophantasma EXTEND should arrive on PC sometime in January 2016. At this point in time, they only mention a Korean localization, but their previous track record makes an English release quite likely. Stay tuned for more details.
Hopefully a Central Fiction update will be released for pc around the same time as the consoles. Anyways im extremely happy to see it on PC/steam.

You're right about the sales numbers, I was quite surprised the games did that well on PC considering how little love we've received in the past. Only a matter of time before Guilty Gear Xrd.

What game do you think it will be? I never was good at Blazblue games... I sure liked playing as Hakuman, Litchi and Makoto though... No Noel Vermillion? The new one is a good place to start.

It could be Under night in birth, Daemon bride, Chaos code. I wasnt expecting either arcana heart or battle fantasia to come to steam so its really up in the air what will come out on steam.

New playable character Nine: www.eventhubs.com/news/2015/nov/17/nine-added-playable-character-blazblue-central-fiction/onoe A. Mercury, also referred as Nine in the BlazBlue series, has been a known, albeit unplayable character for some time now. But according to the most recent issue of Famitsu, her days of sitting on the bench are over.
Nine will be a playable fighter in BlazBlue Central Fiction. Below, you can check out a few shots of her in-game.
