Spiderman is overexposed because he has good writing unlike the crap Wolverine gets out. I mean the comics I have been reading are fine until he faced people he shouldn't or done things he shouldn't. Its like this, he was created and done things his power-set isn't able to do. If they made his power-set equal to things he does thats fine. But no they don't, they give him the same old ability's but make him do shit he shouldn't. And the fanboys are in love with him. Like Wolverine8888, a long dead member. And a new member I think of as a friend ha been born. But come on, he shouldn't be compared to Namor, one punch and it should be over. Because he has the strength and the skill to knock him out. You always say one hit will beat I'm, well thats bull because we saw one hit and he got back up and knocked him out. Haha, I think you had a brainfart on computer... do you hate Wolverine, or his fanboys?

I like wolvie when he is fighting street levelers, when he is taking on people like juggs and hulk and namor and gettting the advantage over them sometimes that is when i wish wolverine wasn't soo popular so marvel would't have to make him fight these guys, i wish at times he was as popular as AIDS...

Yea, thats why i said he shouldn't be able to take the advantage over them, he could tussle with them, but thats where it ends he should be a minor conflict when wolvie attacks hulk...

How do you feel about this character? How do you feel about his current writing? Do you like him better now, or when he was written back in the 80's/90's? Is it the character that makes you mad, or the fanboys? (if you don't like him) Is he overused in comics? Where would you place him, in strength, skills, and such? What is the attraction of this character? Who do you think should be the limit, of who he should be able to beat? About the character - I liked him more when he was simply a Canadian badass who kicked the hell out of anyone in his way. Then, they went Ninja/Samurai whatever with him. The bad thing is that if he's a Samurai, he shouldn't know the Ninja way, but that's for another discussion. How Do I feel about him now - Too much in too little of time. He's not Batman. There's no way he could get that good, that quickly. How do I feel about him back then - Before all the complexities, he was just a cool character that everyone loved. Giving him the Ninja treatment just ruined it for me. Also, him taking on people he can't and shouldn't stand up to makes it worse. Character or Fanboys? - Fanboys, but the fact that he's a fanboy tailored character makes him nearly as bad. Is he overused? - Yes. Strength, Skills and Such? Strength - Peak Human Durability - Enhanced Human/Superhuman Fighting Skills - Mastered some arts What's the attraction of his character? He's good at killing people, and doesn't really do it for any particular reason except self-gratification. He's esentially Punisher without the mafia-murdered family. and TEH CLAWZ! His Limit - Street Levelers. He's written most realistically in Punisher comics, where a shotgun to the gut puts him down for a while.

I like the character
skill and abilities healing factor ( also he immortal) superhuman strength 2 tons. agility superhuman reflex superhuman senses superhuman stamina superhuman durability enchanced human. skills level 7 top tier martial artist 100 + years of expereince.
limits? hmmm he like spiderman he can battle high level people such as hulk. how ever people with healing factor that are 100 class would defeated him. people like thing how ever he would take the majority from.

How do you feel about this character? He's my favorite comic book character. How do you feel about his current writing? It's been getting progressively better, I think. Most of the complaints are really about the art. Do you like him better now, or when he was written back in the 80's/90's? Really, I like him about the same. Is it the character that makes you mad, or the fanboys? (if you don't like him) N/A Is he overused in comics? Not anymore. Where would you place him, in strength, skills, and such? Physically, he's a low level superhuman. In my opinion, he's one of the most skilled characters in Marvel. Not only is he arguably Earth's greatest fighter, but this guy has so much experience it's ridiculous. He's an expert pilot, he's got hacking abilities, he's one of the stealthiest men alive, an expert tracker, and speaks 17 different languages: he's DEFINITELY more than the sum of his powers. What is the attraction of this character? Wolverine's attraction is that he's a very wild, very viscious man, with an animal psyche, that, through determination, will power, and tons of training, has risen above his nature, and become a hero. Here is a guy that has more reason's to be a criminal than 90% of Marvel's villains, yet he fights every day to see a dream of peace be fulfilled. By the way, to the guy that said that Wolverine shouldn't know both the Ninja way and the samurai way, it's because he was trained in both disciplines. As to whoever said that he couldn't get that good, that fast... he's had a hundred years to do it. Who do you think should be the limit, of who he should be able to beat? With Wolverine, it's not very simple. The fact of the matter is, while his power set seems to say that he should only face street level to slightly above streets, the fact of the matter is, he's a guy who's designed to take down bricks. He's faster than most of them, plus he's very skilled, so he knows where to attack, and will be able to land his attacks; He's got the durability to take several of their best blows, so he won't go down fast; and he's got six weapons that can cut through anything, so he'll be able to deal lasting damage(unless they have a healing factor, like the Hulk). This isn't to say that Wolverine can beat ANYBODY, like people who can take him out from a distance(Iron Man, Human Torch, etc... at least in an arena setting), just that he's basically been designed to beat on, and yes, even defeat, bricks.

How do you feel about this character? He's cool character, and one of my favorite marvel characters[/I] How do you feel about his current writing?? Sameway I feel about marvel now a days, it blows. Do you like him better now, or when he was written back in the 80's/90's? I prefer marvel in general back in the 80's and early 90's Is it the character that makes you mad, or the fanboys? (if you don't like him) Well, Fanboys and rampant sensationalism is what keeps wolverine in the state he's in[/I] Is he overused in comics? Don't really careWhere would you place him, in strength, skills, and such? Low level Meta and High level Street LevelerWhat is the attraction of this character? He's a bad ass[/I] Who do you think should be the limit, of who he should be able to beat? Mid-level meta's at best

It seems that Marvel is going the same route with Wolverine as DC did with Superman.

Wolverine appears in almost everybook lately. Just this month alone he got beat up by Hulk, sucker punched by Namor, chopped off Deadpool's head. Hell I think he drove through Riverdale and bought Jugghead a hamburger or two at Pop Tates.
I understand that there is a movie is coming out and they want to cash in on Wolvie every way they possibly can. I just wish that they would pursue other possible movies. There is a whole universe of potential just waiting to be made into a movie.

A Sentry movie would look too much like it is, a Superman rip-off.
I would like to see another big movie like the original X-Men movie. Maybe an Avengers movie, or something else that involves a lot of heroes trying to save the day.
*cough*Infinity Gauntlet*cough*

I opt for something like the original Spiderman... I wonder if Venom could hold a movie, doubtful. Hawkeye, doubtful. Thanos! ;D
