Well, to be fair, Pre-Recton's got more on panel than TOAA. We only assume what TOAA can do. We've seen what PRB can do and it was so outrageous and ridiculous that they had to re-write him altogether. Now if TOAA is "Stan Lee" like some people think, then it's obvious who the stronger is, but if not, we only can speculate.

It depends on how are we gauging this. TOAA is definitely the most powerful, but since it's supposed to be representative of Marvel staff I do not think we should count it. If we count canon appearances then Classic Beyonder has got to be the most deliberately broken character in history. Only thanos with the HOTU and blessing of TOAA can beat him. If we are counting Canon characters, then I guess it's Thanos w/ HOTU. But, if we use current characters Tribunal or the IG with the Ego gem might be top tier. Marvel is constantly nerfing or messing around with their Hierarchy that it is impossible to tell.

Those are mainly cameos and beyond the fourth wall refrences. I mean when we talk about the strongest of course the creators are the ultimate authorties of any story. But it get's really silly if they are mentioned in versus or talks about character strength. Because the last thing I wanna see is a versus between creators or worst a versus between characters and creators. It just much easier IMO to leave them out of the picture.

Very good point, and aldo think that many times they write powerful characters that are just forgotten about or despite being canon aren't effecting the continuity too much. A good example is characters from Dr.Strange comics which are really powerful, but do not interact too often with the rest of the canon and then there is Marvel UK which I don't even know if they are in continuity despite having powerful characters like MMJ, Merlyn, and Roma. Let's not forget God of Genesis appearing in marvel, who know's where he ranks:

The heirachy in marvel is really up in the air. I do say that Tribunal is the "Right hand of God" for marvel.

Well I think we agree on LT, it's not good to debate with TOAA because he'd always win anyways, or tie with the DC god. So you probably won't see him much anyways.

TOAA and presence are too complicated which is why I never bother to count them. We all know they are above everyone based on what is said. The rest of the respective universes are more important in terms of what happens on panel and more vague in terms of power. It's between LT and Infinite Being, not gonna count Pre-Retconned beyonder because LT claimed he allowed Beyonder to run amok on the universe at the request of The Beyonders [An obvious retcon]. I guess it just comes down too the HOTU who is above the LT, but I dunno if he's above Infinite Being. Then again Starlin probably created HOTU as another Deus Ex Machina to make Thanos God as always. Considering it's some unknown power that makes one a supreme being. It's only a matter of time before some new power surpasses HOTU power. . . Maybe magic attack is right about things being left open to interpretation. Though, the hierarchy of 616 up to certain point is of no consequence to me and I maintain my vote for Infinite Being.

Death Gods like Pluto and Hela are way above heralds. I think it's a completely different level altogether. Super Human is the equivalent of Herald. Though, I also need to factor Elder Gods/ The Old ones who are above Sky-Father level:

Herald is like Silver Surfer, he's probably the staple herald and Odin is skyfather probably. Is Thanos a death god?

As for Thanos, it's hard to gauge him. . .This tier ranking is good up to a certain points between 3-7. There are many levels in those parts that aren't even used.

Well what *cough*KMC*cough* did was they made lower and higher levels of the basic parts. So you'd have low herald (Terrax) mid herald (Firelord), High Herald (Surfer). Something like that.
