This is the antithesis to the Darwin's award posts. These are posts that should be put on a pedestal.
This one from the petition itself. It sums things up quite nicely.
"Artistic expression should not be censored in the name of political correctness. Real world boundaries and constraints should not exist in worlds where we try to escape reality, this is why it's a fantasy. Beauty/personality and character are being removed from everything in this day and age to appease angry feminists/SJWs and everyone who feels this is "objectifying" to women. They embrace "equality" and respect but the premise of their argument is based on the shame they feel for the female form and is most likely a projection of their own insecurities. When in fact, to objectify something is to give it power, it's quite the opposite of how feminists see it, it's being objectified because it's admired, not because it's reduced in worth and respect. When you censor beauty or someone's artistic direction you are saying it's bad or shameful to be like that or to be portrayed as that. It's simply having taste, character, and an opinion. Why should people have no opinion or taste just to not offend your personal world view? People should have the freedom to create what they want and portray what they want.
Despite what bitter feminists would think, beauty AND intellect CAN exist simultaneously, when you say portraying women like this reduces them to just sex, you are the one reducing them to that, you're saying they can't be sexy and have something else to offer at the same time. If a woman does have something to offer, it will speak for itself, it won't be masked by how sexy she is, beauty is part of what makes a woman what she is, their beauty is a flair they have over males, males can never appear alluring, while women are renowned for this. It's one of their STRENGTHS. Their form is something that should be praised and embraced as a part of being female, not belittled, degraded and something to feel ashamed of. The very thing feminists try to prevent from happening to females, they are doing it themselves. More than EVERYONE they accuse, and they're completely oblivious to it due to social conditioning, victimization and self hate. Little girls who never got what they want should not be running the entertainment industry.
The people this offends, will not even be buying the game. It is a vocal minority rising in western culture and is attempting to turn everything to mediocrity and is a self reflection of what THEY think should be portrayed, nothing should be beautiful, fantasy should not exist, imagination should not exist. If it's painting a "bad" picture of women and is affecting the way people will see them, then they want to change it, instead of improve themselves and understand that they have no right to think they should be classified as the pinnacle of beauty. In their eyes, anything better than them should be censored because they don't want to be portrayed in a form that they can never achieve. Well, if you feel inadequate, it's probably because you are inadequate. It's someone's fantasy they created in their mind, you should keep your insecurities to yourself instead of trying to change the world to look as boring and bland as you do in every form of media and imagination.
If everyone and everything is reduced to equality, then there is nothing to stand out, there is nothing that "IS" beautiful any more. Not everyone is special, and not everyone is beautiful, that's how the world works, or should work, but we're "progressing" as a society to a state of complete MEDIOCRITY where nothing stands out and different opinions shouldn't exist if it offends someone. Soon magazines will be taking any girl as professional models in the name of equality and anti-discrimination. It shouldn't be like this. The world should not be going down this path, and that's why I'm signing this petition, whether you find this artists portrayal sexy or repulsive, it should exist, it should have a right to exist, it's part of the character and portrayal the artist was trying to convey. Forcing world views on others and banning anything that defies it should not be seen as progression, but in 2015 it is.
We are going backwards as a society, and let's not even GET into the topic of double standards and how males are portrayed. Sexism has taken on a different meaning in 2015, instead of sexism meaning that someone is being discriminated against due to their GENDER, it now means that someone has created or portrayed the female form in what they see as perfection, to put females on that pedestal to be admired, that is what sexism is. Because the REAL sexist people who are against women being admired, are saying if women are portrayed in that light, they CAN'T possibly be good for anything else, and everyone viewing them like that will automatically stereotype them as SEX instead of seeing them for what they're truly capable of and what they have to offer, because no one has a brain, men don't have brains, they see a beautiful girl and think of one thing only. No one is smart enough to appreciate both sides, it has to be all or nothing, bland is GOOD, sexy is BAD, there's no in between. Having that ignorant view of people and the world, while calling others sexist, stereotypical and prejudice."
To summarize, the people who want others to be equal are the mediocre and trash of society who want to bring the rest of us down to their level, censorship is stupid, and the game is fantasy. Our society has become too catered to losers and the bottom of the barrel and we need to make a stand.
