Hey Everyone! I'm MGNoxa you can call me MG or MGN or whatever you prefer. I make YouTube videos as a hobby, you can check them out here www.youtube.com/user/MGNoxa I'm working on a review for Rise of the Tomb Raider which will hopefully come out very soon! You can find me on twitter MGNoxa I tweet about stuff, I usually just annoy people though. That's it. I don't really have anything else going on when it comes to the internet. As for myself I can be quite stubborn when it comes to my own opinions so I'm sorry if that annoys people but I do love discussion, I'll pretty much talk about anything even if I massively disagree, I just like having discussions with people that have different opinions. I don't like censorship at all, obviously sometimes it has to be done for legal reasons or age rating reasons but when it comes from people who are trying to force a view point, I just can't sit there and ignore it. I'm looking forward to getting involved with this community! MGN makes me think of IGN. I make Youtube vids occasionally but not as often as I used to. Nothing wrong with pulling the legs of fools. I avoid sites with crazy trolling on them as it becomes unreadable, that's why I stay here so I can engage in discussion much better. I like having quality discussions, even if people disagree. I just want to have it with people who are rational. Those who force their views on others or believe in nonsense with no logic become really irritating to me and we're getting more and more like that in the USA. We look forward to having you! Post your vids and updates on your activities often. We discuss everything here so if you're a fan of something you'll be welcome. I also added a Darwin's Award thread in the Cyber Talk section for stupid forum posts, as well as a Hall of Fame thread for smart posts. So if you see something exceptionally good.... or bad, be sure to put it there! Beware and get brain bleach when you visit those parts too. What other hobbies do you have?

What other hobbies do you have? Playing Video Games...? Making YouTube videos can take up a lot of time even crappy ones like mine. I used to write original short stories but stopped that when I started to get bored of my own ideas. That's really it unless binge watching Jessica Jones this Friday is considered a hobby. So did you make fanfiction or were they original stories? Do you play all genres of games, or mostly fighting games? How do you feel about SFV gameplay wise?

So did you make fanfiction or were they original stories? Do you play all genres of games, or mostly fighting games? How do you feel about SFV gameplay wise? Didn't make fanfiction, I almost did Metroid fanfiction but I wanted to do original stuff. Started it during Highschool and sort of just did it a for few years. My stories aren't on the site anymore that's assuming the site still exists. It was a small anime fan site. I play almost every genre of video games and I don't have a favourite a genre. Like fighting games loads but not very good at them, I was pretty good at Soul Calibur 4 and 5 as well as Mortal Kombat 9 and X. Street Fighter 5 I haven't played but I've seen a few videos and I don't know. I don't think it looks slow or boring like a lot of people. I'm still concerned about the V Trigger system, I haven't done much research into it but it seems to be very situational and when fighting a better player it's useless. Personally just looking at Street Fighter V I think it's going to be a lot better than people think it will be. I just get this feeling that people don't know the game yet, you see Maximilian Dood who is good at the game but there's something missing, if you get me? I think that missing thing is in the game just people haven't figured it out yet. I could be wrong like I said I haven't played it and depending on how this censorship stuff flies I won't be playing it. I will say I hope Chun Li doesn't get her charge moves back, I'm not very good and I play on the normal PS4 controller so as a result I find myself jumping in order to be able to charge stuff. I'm also a scrub so a lot of what I say about the gameplay is probably laughed away by a lot of players. Just in case your interested my favourite fighting game moment was online on MvC3 Vanilla. Lost all my guys apart from Captain America, getting absolutely slaughtered my first time online. The opponent does his Triple Ultra Super thing (can't remember what it's called, it's when all three heroes jump out) I pop X Factor and do my Super and kill all of them. Didn't play online for weeks after that because I knew nothing would ever match that. How did you like SC4 vs SC5? Many gave SC5 a hard time? Did you like MKX? I know it was a base breaker compared to MK9. I like that they're trying to make SFV more "honest" but I don't like the overzealous approach they're taking to certain things like nullifying options. I do like the crossplay and hope that becomes the norm across other fighters. Have you played Killer Instinct?

You two have much in common from what I see. We're a friendly lot, so don't worry. I loved MKX, Cassie Cage was awesome! My new favourite MK Character and she was a joy to play, I also really liked playing as Kitana and I don't usually like Kitana. I have played Killer Instinct but it's not really my thing. Orchid and the Spider Lady look cool but I just don't like the feel of KI. I never felt like I was in control on KI if that makes sense? As for the crisply I'm worried that PC or Console players will have an advantage. If the game is broken on PC what does this mean in a PS4 vs PC fight? What if players are playing the PS4 version at 120+fps that's a massive unfair advantage, what about potential mods or cheats being used on the PC side that aren't caught by some sort of authentication. I think Capcom will have to do a lot of stuff to make it fair for console players and that will piss off a lot of PC fans that hate it when developers put locks in place or take away options. Then again if SFV is a success that won't matter because PC players won't need to fight PS4 guys. Yea Cassie seemed to be the best part of the game, hated that the online was buggy and that PC got crap treatment as usual. Johnny and Cassie for me. Killer Instinct has the netcode that MKX should have, glad it's coming to PC but hate that it needs Windows 10. As a PC player let me tell you, we won't have an advantage. FPS just makes the game run smoother, you don't want it under 60 as it causes lag. FPS is generally locked with V-sync which is what most players use, most PC players won't have the latest beast rig anyways. You can't cheat the online system without hacking the system and those people are caught and busted. This can happen on console as well as people unlocked Galactus on MvC3. It's very rare, but people like that get reported or banned. People can use turbo controllers on PC or console but it's really unnecessary with the hit windows being so large. I definitely won't be happy if on top of the censorship and nerfing they decided to screw over the PC players like other companies have when we're spending our hard earned money as well. We shouldn't have our system capabilities toned down for console players. As a PC player I'll tell you, those things aren't an issue. I've had tons of consoles and I'm on PC now because it's better, faster, and more convenient since I can play anywhere at any time with my gaming desktop and laptop. The community has more mature players who are more helpful (less online kiddies) and people make cool things like costume mods (and they can even often fix the censorship, though that remains to be seen). You'll be fine, who knows, one day you might game on PC. Heh.

You'll be fine, who knows, one day you might game on PC. Heh. I used to be a PC Gamer years ago. we're talking around 8 years ago I started PC gaming then 5 Years ago I got a pretty beast gaming laptop then I just sort of got bored of it and the price of getting back into is keeping me at bay and also some of my favourite video games seem to be broken on PC or not on PC. I never answered your question on SC 4 or 5. The characters in 4 are better but I preferred 5's gameplay. PC gaming has gotten a lot more streamlined and simple since 8 years ago. With Steam and modern gaming servers you literally just click a button. Console gaming has gotten to be more of a pain with the updating and trying to be more like PC. More and more fighters have come on PC. We now have Blazblue so I hope we get GGXrd soon. You can build a PC really cheap nowadays and the games are definitely cheap. 10 games for $20 is better than $60 a game. Games are what people spend the most on. You might be able to snatch a gently used one off of Ebay.

I know the games are definitely cheaper but over here in the UK if you want to build a PC on your own and you don't already own anything. You're looking at a lot of money. Buying a case, windows and monitor can add £200+ depending on how high end you go. You'll also want a decent mouse and keyboard but a lot of places throw them in depending on what you buy. One day I'll probably jump back in but right now Console is where I am. Most parts are able to be used again and again until you'll just need the graphics and processor to be updated. I mean most don't factor in the cost of buying new controllers and parts with a console, plus the television, and paying for online. It's annoying for fighters because you have to start all over again with a new controller or hope it can be modded. Here's a link. For $300, $600, and $1200 for future reference whenever you get one. lifehacker.com/5840963/the-best-pcs-you-can-build-for-600-and-1200' Either way crossplay is great because you get a much larger player base instead of a fragmented one and the online is better (no lag spikes between systems unlike SF4). Keeps the game alive longer. I hope newer releases do just that.
