I definitely wouldn't mind a remake of Resident Evil 2. It's a favorite of the series. I know people like the first game Remastered on Steam.

Resident Evil 4 tends to be a base breaker since people say that's when it became more like an action game. I like the classic horror feel myself.

Yea, the general consensus is that it got worse in the later part. I know 4 was popular but 5 and 6 were disliked for being more like CoD and less like a survival horror game.
Some people like that kind of gameplay while others like the eerie feel of the older games so it's a base breaker.

Fast and Furious is like Transformers at this point. I think catering to the CoD fanbase was a bad move. The fans are alienated and the CoD players will just go play CoD.

Never got a chance to play zero!! Already pre ordered it on steam. I'm hoping re2 remake is gonna be exactly like re1 remake. They could add a lot more content related re3 also; I want more evidence of Nemesis' existence. I don't know if I want more Ada content because the mystery surrounding her character in re2 made her pretty damn cool. I hope they don't add any melee mechanics from 4-6. Stun, run up, melee attack were too good and don't fit the classic resident evil style. Defensive options like the daggers in remake were a pretty cool addition. The worst thing that could happen is making a chapter based game (final fantasy vii goofed that one) If it ends up re4 style I won't complain either because it'll still end up a good game. Might not be a good Resident Evil game but a good game nonetheless

True. Re4 Ada campaign style might actually work perfectly for this game. I wonder if anything from the books will be added as far as her character is concerned... Do you think they will expand Williams story more? Also do you think they will keep the A or B stories or make Leon A Claire B the default and expand on that?

Resident Evil said they were trying to cater to the mainstream demographic. Hence why the later Resident Evil games don't have the survival horror elements of the early games and it feels more like an action game. Did you play the older stuff a lot?

This probably isn't the right crowd to ask this to but I'll see what you think of this anyway. I want to do a playthrough of Resident Evil Zero but I've never played the game before (I always forget about Zero when I say I've played them all) because Zero is a lot like Remake that means it's going to be incredibly punishing if you don't know where to go which means my playthrough would have to be heavily edited and it will take longer to come out. So my question to you lot is should I research the game and make the playthrough with prior knowledge so I know where I'm going and what to do? Or should I do a blind playthrough? Final question Preorder Bonus costumes Yea or Nay? Why wouldn't this be the right crowd? We like playthroughs! Go blind if you want the challenge unless it's supposed to be instructional. The costume isn't bad at all.

If it's entertaining I don't mind watching. I don't watch many in their entirety though. They can be really popular.
