No idea but they made big deal out of DOAX3 because that was a clear victory. In this case it's unclear what's happened, they should be on top of this people need to know that this game isn't coming west, but it's a sexy game so no one will talk about it.

Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni to Weaponize Women Worldwide release in September 16

PQube has announced they’re officially localizing Marvelous’ female-turned-weapon PS Vita action game, Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni.



The game will launch worldwide via both the PlayStation Network and at retailers sometime later this year. The game was previously leaked for at least a European release via United Kingdom retailer ShopTo.

PQube Explains How Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni Will Be Uncensored In The West

Fans were incredibly happy to hear when the news broke out that Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkuni would not only be releasing in the west, but would so completely uncensored.



This has garnered much praise for PQube, who have taken the responsibility of bringing over the title for western fans to enjoy.



In a recent statement to Dualshockers, PQube’s PR Executive Nathaniel Fury explained why they decided to localize the game uncensored, as well as the hurdles they needed to pass in order to do so. His statement:



"I can confirm that Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni will be brought to the west in its original form, with content completely intact. It will be with a Japanese dub and English subtitles.



We generally don’t take on these kinds of projects if we’re not confident we can release it in the west without cutting or changing content. Changing the source material kind of defeats the purpose of doing it in the first place, so that is not something we even consider unless we literally have no other options. In terms of platform holders and ratings boards, you’d be surprised what you can get away with. Gal*Gun: Double Peace passed quite painlessly for example.



Where issues might arise in terms of publishing, is selling the title in to retailers who might be hesitant to take it. A game doesn’t just appear at retailers when we release it; a big part of the process is to go around and sell the title to each individual retailer and negotiate numbers and prices. Trying to present a game like Valkyrie Drive to a group of executives at a major retailer, who might be in their 50’s and don’t play or particularly care about games, and convince them that Valkyrie Drive is amazing and would do really well on their shelves or their website, can be quite the challenge for the sales team.

The most interesting bit to take from this was regarding ratings boards, seeing as this reason has been brought up in the past regarding why certain games have been altered to maintain a certain rating.




The naughty girls-turned-weapons PS Vita game will launch via both retail and digital storefronts on September 16th in both North America and Europe.



If you pre-order the game, you’ll get a set of eight cards emblazoned with the women from Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni.

PQube also localized Gal*Gun Double Peace which they announced is going to be uncensored, which is getting officially released tomorrow. I got the game last friday, 4 days earlier. Here are the trailers of them being honest:

Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni Delayed In Both North America and Europe

We’ve just learned, that the North American and European release for Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni has been pushed back.

PQube, the games western publisher, jokingly explained that the delay was due to a “wardrobe malfunction”, until clarifying that “publishing games can be a tricky process, and it’s not unusual for games with early release dates to experience some setbacks, especially when coming over from Japan.”

Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni will now be releasing on September 30th in Europe and October 11th in North America exclusively for the PS Vita.

PQube posted the launch trailer for their moe-action game Valkyrie Drive -Bhikkhuni-, available now on PlayStation Vita in Europe and coming to North America on October 11.

The trailer details all the action and battle damaged clothing that players can expect to encounter while playing through the game. Additionally, you get a look at the customization and “training” scenes that focus on the girl’s underwear and the Vita’s touch screen, respectively.

Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni is coming to PC via Steam worldwide this summer, Marvelous announced.

The PC version will feature full 1080p, 60 frames per section graphics with support for even higher resolutions, as well as Steam achievements, trading cards, and cloud saving.

All previously released downloadable content for the PS Vita version of the game will also be made available for the PC version. This additional content, which includes a wide range of cosmetics and costumes, alongside characters such as Mirei Shikishima and Mamori Tokonome from Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid, will be available to purchase as a launch bundle with the base game, or as a separate downloadable content pack.

Valkyrie Drive -Bhikkhuni- Port to Other Consoles Might Be Considered if There Is Significant Demand

Marvelous Europe is bringing Valkyrie Drive -Bhikkhuni- to PC via Steam this summer, but what if you want to enjoy the waif… game on other consoles in addition to the original PS Vita release?

DualShockers had a chat with the folks at the publishers, and asked them exactly that. Apparently, the possibility does exist if the PC version does well and there is demand.

“For the moment we would like to see how things go for the PC version before we look into other platforms, but if there’s significant demand for a game on another platform (and let me tell you there’s been plenty already) and it’s feasible, we’ll definitely investigate the possibility and costs associated with that.”

There you have it, straight from the lion’s mouth. If you want to play Valkyrie Drive on another platform, it’s time to start asking, and maybe to give that PC port a bump.

VALKYRIE DRIVE: BHIKKHUNI REMOVED FROM GERMAN AND AUSTRALIAN STEAM TO “COMPLY WITH LOCAL LEGISLATION”

We’ve learned that Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni has been removed from the German and Australian Steam stores.

The game where you have women sexually excite each other so they transform into literal weapons has been removed so the local digital storefronts can “comply with local legislation.” These regions are notorious for draconian laws regarding material that could be viewed as obscene or adult.

The games were available in both regions for PC for roughly two months before they were removed.

Publisher and developer Marvelous have put out a statement regarding the situation:

As of today, 10th August 2017, VALKYRIE DRIVE -BHIKKHUNI-, VALKYRIE DRIVE -BHIKKHUNI- Complete Edition and the VALKYRIE DRIVE -BHIKKHUNI- Complete DLC Pack are no longer available for purchase on Steam in Australia and Germany.

VALKYRIE DRIVE -BHIKKHUNI- was removed for sale in these countries in accordance with local legislation.

This announcement does not affect any other country and VALKYRIE DRIVE -BHIKKHUNI- will continue to be available to purchase on Steam in other countries.

Those who currently own VALKYRIE DRIVE -BHIKKHUNI- on Steam in Australia and Germany will still be able to play the game from their Steam library.

We are currently investigating the possibilities to make VALKYRIE DRIVE -BHIKKHUNI- available again in these countries.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused and we will provide updates when possible.

This hasn’t affected other European regions, nor the North American Steam listing.
