What phone do you use or want and why?

I myself am currently using a Samsung galaxy note 3. Its an older phone but still works really well for what i use it for. It received the android lollipop updated but i don't think that samsung will be offering any more android updates for it. Android Marshmallow is currently not planned for the note 3

I want to upgrade to this phone Moto X Pure Edition . Some things that attracted me to this phone is that one it uses almost stock android so no carrier bloatware which my note 3 was riddled with until i uninstalled/disabled it all and touch wiz being laggy. Motorola has extended android Marshmallow update support to phones released in 2014. The Moto G second gen  is getting the marshmallow update but the note 3 will not even though it was released in 2014 also and it was the flagship samsung phone at the time.

I never really used most of the note 3 features such as the S-pen although the multi view which allows it to view 2 apps on the screen at the same time is convenient to use.

I looked up and down at everything-except Apple since I wasn't going there. I had an Apple product I sold this year that I found some years ago and it worked perfectly. I don't like the limitations of Apple plus a lot of other things.

The Window phones would be great for business as the stuff they get is quite nice on that end. Word for instance is the true microsoft word and not some "app". My old phone is a windows phone but it's super old. It was top of the line at the time but the time has passed.

The Windows phones have nice quality apps but have fewer of them. My problem is that they were AT&T. I have a unique situation where I live so I wanted a unlocked T-Mobile phone so I could use whatever I wanted and have all of the features no matter what carrier I went to. Unlocked Att phones don't have the features I would want unfortunately.

I did like that Nokia 1520 though, pretty neat but an older phone.

You can almost buy two phones for it, but if you have the old phone I suppose it could be a backup.

The HTC One is one of the best phones available. Great design, sound, and battery. I've used them so I know.

Even better deal for you than I had too. I recommend an unlocked T-Mobile phone since you can use all GSM carriers (like att and t-mobile). T-mobile also has extra band signals and wifi calling (if you live in a bad reception area or something similar) and you need one of their phones for it. This phone can be used for AT&T if you like as well so you get the best of both worlds.

$99 will get you one that's in great condition (that's like new) but it will have a pink camera problem where the pictures have a pink tint to it. If you don't care about the camera, this will be perfect and you could even buy 2 (one for backup).

This one has no problems and is in great condition used and is an unlocked T-Mobile as well. $40 more dollars will get you one that has a functional camera too without the pink issue.

This starts at $75 but you will need to bid for it. It might end up higher than the other two and you have to wait. I'd probably recommend that as a backup option.


The Samsung Galaxy 4 is also a great phone and like the previous I recommend a T-mobile unlocked since it works on both carriers and you get wifi calling if you want to use T-mobile plus extra signals for that service.

This one is like new and is an S5. This is close to 200 if you want it. I'd say the S4 or HTC One, but if you want something a bit newer there's your best bet.

I recall you saying something about your signals being bad. I'm not sure if this is because of your phone or your service.


You use MetroPCS which is owned by T-Mobile and uses their lines. T-Mobile is known for being wonky in some areas.
