What did everyone think of Superman:Doomsday?

I have to admit that the fight scenes were quite good. My complaint is one that I will hold till others have seen it. I watched this the other day, and I have been holding off talking about it because I dont want to ruin it for anyone else.

I might have to see it, I didn't hear much about it. I'm certain a certain place has spilled all about it though.

I have made viewing of it, and am not disappointed, though it bears saying that there is room for improvement.

Yes, the fights were good but. I despise the artwork and the lack of different supermen.

I didn't want a Superman clone! I wanted Cyborg Superman, Eradicator, Steel, Superboy... you know. The woiks!

Not to mention that but their idea of a older Superman was a Superman with more defined cheek lines. That's pretty lame.

Anyway, I won't complain to much because it was good and I own it now so complaining seems pretty hypocritical.

The cheek lines were just a stupid way to age the character in my book.

I think they should have reevaluated what they considered artwork for this picture. Not just for that reason either.
I didn't like how Luthor looked either. His head was too long.

There are other things but for the life of me I just can't remember right now.

A few things messed it but it's still good.

Kind of like Superman Returns is good even though it's not what we wanted.

I really enjoyed the movie. It's one of the few times I didn't have to say a fight should've been longer. The plot was great, and there more twists than I thought. I watched it on Thursday on my CP & thoroughly enjoyed it.

And that is absolutely rare, because most fights are too short unless they're DBZ, where a fight lasts 3 months.

Yep, it nearly ten minutes long, and you only see fights that good if they are really short or are on DBZ, as you said.

Now that most people have seen the movie, I will give my view.

I thought the movie was just ok. While the fight scene with Doomsday was very good, I thought the rest of the movie was rather lacking.


I would give it a 6.5/10.

While I thought the movie was fairly good and interesting, I have two complaints.

For one, Doomsday is only in like 15 minutes of the movie.

For another.......Superman's face.
