Here some tweet in from eventhubs:
Darkstalkers really aren't dead? Ono is still 'striving to attain' a new title in the series
Fans want Capcom to make a new entry in the Darkstalkers franchise. This has been true for a long time now.
Though the company released Darkstalkers Resurrection -- a compilation of the series' two classic 2d fighters -- back in 2013, it wasn't quite enough to satisfy fans in the long run.
A couple of weeks ago, one Twitter user decided to revive the request by asking Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono if there are any plans for a new Darkstalkers game.
Despite the fact that Ono has probably been asked this question hundreds of times, the Capcom representative actually replied.
Of course, this doesn't confirm a new Darkstalkers title by any means. However, it is definitely interesting and reassuring to know that in 2016 Ono is still trying to bring fans what they want.
Now that Capcom has officially launched Street Fighter 5, perhaps planning for a new fighting game is already in the works. If so, we sure hope it's Darkstalkers.
While we wait, we can still enjoy the "Darkstalkers are not dead" teaser trailer from New York Comic-Con 2012.

I'd definitely get it if that were the case. Wouldn't hold my breath however.

They should sell the rights and let someone else do it.

Do you think that it's all Ono though?

No, I mean he ehads the projects. But, Capcom is a joke right now. I honestly rather a new I.P. Tired of remakes, reboots, spin-offs and Spiritual successors.

I feel like even smaller budget companies have better production at this point, they also put in more effort. Sad really.

Morrigan's side job has her doing more healing than hurting - check out Capcom's new collectible figure
It looks like Morrigan's got a figure on the way that will have collectors daydreaming about her bedside manners.
"Sexy Nurse Morrigan" is currently available for preorder. If the white uniform isn't quite your cup of tea, Capcom is also offering a black uniform variant.
For those wondering how much one of these will cost, the figurine is set at a price point of ¥12,000. ($112.63 USD)
