More KMC woes, and personal stuff

Well, no use sugar coating the truth here. Unfortunately, I've had 2 major run ins on the Movie Vs forum of KMC with a member known as Time-Immemorial, A sock puppet of the previously banned member Supra.

Now, I've been told previously that he got a pass to have his new account, so that is fine. But I've also been warned of his explosive temper and frankly very short fuse that goes off at the merest hint of perceived slight. I managed to like that fuse twice in one week, and in which both cases, he went ballistic, and got incredibly hostile, and very very personal. He mocked my disability of having no lower legs by calling me stumpy multiple times during the first exchange, which escalated to "you are not even half a man" in a 2 hour escalating spam flood of my inbox, to which, I reported to the mods. He got warned, and the matter was resolved.

That was until earlier today my time. Where in a debate regarding the powers of Apocalypse in the new X-Men movie's power set, in which he and another user Arachnid1 could not prove Apocalypse did not possess Telepathy. Now, I made multiple posts proving that he did infact have Telepathy, but the oposition disagreed, and outright admitted that if Apocalypse's Telepathy was admisable, he'd be virtually impossible to defeat in VS Matches.

I continued making my case, when Time-Immemorial then proceeded to enter VS Matches involving Apocalyspe, denouncing even the mention of Apocalypses Telepathy, where in I asked him to cease and desist invoking his opinion as fact, where upon he proceeded to start flaring up. He did try to chill by saying he was going to ignore me altogether, so I made a post about this fact in the Off Topic thread in Movie vs. And that's where he blew up entirely. Including spamming my PM inbox with wishes for death. Now, I had explained to the mods, Robtard, and even Quan, that the disability I have, will eventually claim my life. The amputation of my lower legs did not stop the muscular distrophy that will eventually shut me down.

Now, I made mention after 3 of these vile PMs, that if he continued down that path, I would not only pass the PMs along as proof to the mods, but it is also grounds under US federal law for criminal proceedings under anti cyber-bullying laws. Tat seemed to shut him down.

KMC is full of nonsense like this constantly. Just run amok with trolls and flamers. That's why I don't advise people posting there.

Also I didn't know about your condition worsening. How long are they saying you have left?

I tend to be more private for reasons like that. I'll generally tell a few people something like that but people getting in my business just tends to lead me to problems. At least that's what I found out.

I saw Deadpool about a month or two ago and enjoyed it, haven't seen anything since. I'll probably catch TMNT this year for sure. I have watched Supergirl and the Flash and enjoyed both immensely.

Maybe I'm naive still, but I had thought a place I had spent 10 years being a part of, and TI being a long time member, combined with his time as supra, would have afforded me a little bit of respect, but nope. Funny thing is, it all started with me trying to help him out. That backfired spectacularly. I guess KMC is gearing more and more towards everyone needing to be a complete asshole.

Nope. Ironically the original injury was during an attack on the way home from work.

Yeah, I will, and yeah, I saw BVS. But I honestly saw more plotholes in BVS and piss poor writing than anything else.

Well. I found sites that are well regulated fair better. I mean I still go to Spacebattles and Sufficient Velocity. The last time they had a miscarriage of justice, the admins got lynched by the public and ousted from their position. And that was for firing a well respected and loved supermoderator on very shady and questionable grounds. When they said they didn't have to explain shit, a very large portion of it's paid subscribers cancelled immediately, and more than half the staff resigned in protest. This caused the owner to... strip the offending admins and caused a reshuffle of staff.

I was comming off a 12 hour shift and was tired as all shit and just wanted to get home, but he took a damn rusty iron bar that had fallen from it's stake in concrete in a parking lot and shinned my legs with it.

I mean, there are aspects of BVS that are good, like the fight scenes, but the story blew donkeys.

Australia dude, where even the plants can killz ya No, but seriously, after he bludgeoned my legs, they looked like raw hamburger for a while. As for what happened, I managed to get him infront of a bank, so they got an id and security footage of the dude. He was plastered on ice. but the real damage hadn't stated on me until after he ODed. As for chronic pain, yeah, my knees kept buckling, my ankles swelled out like baloons, and the bruising of my shins not only didn't go away, but slowly banded around my calves too. It got so bad that I could no longer walk right, and the docs recomended amputation. After a year of my legs disintegrating out form under me, I eventually got them snipped.

As for rating BVS.... I'd give it 4-10. It's below average overall. I'd see it for the fight coreography, but not for any sort of good plot.

It's a number of reasons, and I dunno if you want spoilers or not buuuut... Luther's entire character and plot was nothing but a huge rambling diatribe. Superman and Batman fighting while awsome, was forced and the motivations were really crappy, and finally, with the big reveal of Doomsday, they did the Death of Superman squeezed in at the end. For that reason, BVS jumped the shark, and the shark was so lethargic it was belly up and stinking. Thats how bad the plot was.

Man that's messed up. I haven't been active on KMC since 09 I think, I bounced back and forth between different sites: OBD, CBR, MVC, etc. I eventually came back here, but I generally gave up versus debates. Most I do that is versus related is watch Death battle and comment off it. But overall, I lost interest and debating in general.
