Another controversial thread, but yo know how it is. Honestly, growing up I used to be the goody two shoes who always followed the rules. But, honestly outside of utilitarian ends imo morality is absolute horse crap used to control people. That's all it is, no different from peer pressure. It's something used to control people at the end of the day.

The way people do this is by creating a super figure for people to believe in, so they'll do it out of fear. In reality people follow their own self interests.
