Steam can remove a G2A purchase.

Was talking with my friend on Discord and he was telling me that some of his games were missing. In Steam you can't delete purchased games, But you can remove F2P games. Anyway, he also mentioned to me that steam can remove G2A purchases which I did not know:

The second link is wrong, since you can't be banned from steam for a G2A purchase. But, good read.

I've heard people say that it's always possible to have games removed. I've never had anybody confirm G2A however, but that's definitely worth noting.

I use Cheapshark to search for games, but I guess it's always worth double checking your sites you're buying games from. Thanks for the information.

Even then it could be argued that the savings in the games could be worth the risk. I guess it also depends on how much you value the game.

It turns out it wasn't true. My friend did inventory on his games and the exact number of games was negligible enough that he most likely miscounted. My bad for the false alarm.
