Buying Gold?

I would recommend having some savings. The idea behind buying gold itself is because you want to use it as a hedge against inflation due to government. Things like low interest rates and QE are things you'd want to consider if you're going to do it.

Been thinking about Silver myself, not as good as Gold. but, better than nothing.

Silver is much cheaper to get into for sure and you can test it out. It's not a bad way to go.

Not at the moment because I'm investing in other startups but I do plan on doing it quite soon. Are you buying it by yourself or will you be using a dealer of some sort?

I was always interested, I just never brought it up unfortunately. I used to hear about gold alot in the old discussions about fiat currency bck when I was a conspiracy theorist.

That was back when I was crazy into politics and Versus as well. These days I don't have time for any of those things, I just study and work.

Well best to learn before you get old. I spent my time working and I hung out with people but I eventually moved so things changed for me a bit. The online world was new back then and when I was on KMC back then I was in school/college, running a business, and in other activities and I lived in a different place.

It's crazy how time flies.

Back on KMC? 12 hours easily, I would only stop to sleep and I would practice my responses to other peoples arguments in my head. It was crazy.

Learned a great deal about comics from Comic versus and I definitely don't regret going to KMC comic versus because of that.

It's too bad because these discussion boards and socializing on the internet had potential. When I first started in 06 It was exciting. But, they evolved in a direction I wasn't too fond of due to poor moderation and the internet becoming way too popular. Too bad, these days the non junk parts of the internet for me is mostly shopping.

Well they've "evolved" into things like Facebook and Reddit. They had their time, but many of them were poorly run and got too large which promoted idiocy. The internet being larger definitely opened up more opportunities. Especially for businesses and other services so I like that aspect about it.

Definitely, I remember when it first started the business venues were so seedy. Vendors selling stuff via Geocities and whatnot. Ironically, it's the business sectors of the internet that have gotten great, while the social stuff started off cool back when it was more small and nichey but has since gotten worst.

Social sites have their use and in some ways finding people for certain things have never been easier. It's just more mainstream now with idiots. What's disturbing is that more people are social retards now.
