I have to come clean for you guys for months i been emailing both host of Screw Attack to do this list for me i am happy they did both of them for Sonic.
Before i put down the list for you all the reason i did that is 1. I am a big fan of sonic and 2. I am tired of Mario taking all the credit for alot of things so i asked them to even the best and worst list made for sonic.
You can hate me later....
Note: Both these lists are half the size of Mario's version.
Best ----- 5. Sonic the Hedgehog 4. Sonic Advance 3 3. Sonic Adventure 2. Sonic & Knuckles w/ Sonic 2 and 3 1. Sonic CD
Worst ------- 5. Sonic 3D Blast 4. Sonic the Fighters 3. Sonic Shuffle 2. Sonic Labyrinth 1. Sonic R
So good list right i hope you like them better than the one i found on Gamespot made by two fans.

The best Sonic I've played would be the 1st one and Adventure.
The wrost ones are...actually every one C master picked. Sonic the Fighters has to be the hardest one, tho.

Sonic Shuffle was a party game. It wasn't terrible. It was at least as good as all the other party games out there that aren't Mario.
I agree with Remulous up there. 1. Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Sonic Adventure
I thought the Adventure series was a good touch but the second was a step in the wrong direction.

Yeah, that game is awesome. In fact, I'm playing it right now.
Most people don't like the game because "there are too many characters" or "the spotlight isn't on Sonic".
Honestly, you can't expect the main character to always have the game to himself. Anyway, my favorite teams were Team Dark and Team Rose.

Here's what I cannot understand about the people who dislike heroes: The original complaint about the extra characters was that their gameplay wasn't as fun as sonic because they had far too many silly implements such as: Big the Cat with his fishing and Knuckles collecting gems. Fair enough, but that style of gameplay is absent in Heroes all together. Most characters follow the traditional playstyles of Sonic, Tails and Knuckles. . . You know the playstyles from the original sonic series, the games that everyone considers to be the "best". Yet, despite that no one is satisfied???

I've been wondering about that, too. The only difference is that Sonic Heroes required you to switch from character to character and it's in 3D.
Then again, some Sonic fanboys may have disliked having 12 playable characters and wanted Sonic to have all the playtime. Another reason may have been the fact that all four teams had the same stages. I was okay with it, but other Sonic fans might have prefered each team to have their own unique set of stages (similar to Sonic Adventure 2: Battle).
I thoroughly enjoyed Sonic Heroes, so I'm surprised that people didn't like it. The soundtrack was awesome, too.

Judging by the videos, it looks pretty good.

I don't get the critiscism because adeventure and Adventure 2 required you to play with different characters with drastically different play styles. Heroes on the other hand everyone pretty much plays like Sonic or how Tails and Knuckles played in the classic series which isn't that different than the way sonic plays. Furthermore, people praise adventure despite it being 3-D. I liked the game as soon as I saw it, don't get why it's underrated. But, it doesn'tt matter to me because I enjoyed the game and that is all that counts. Here's good review:

That's is good review, and Sonic Heroes will continue to be one of my favorite Sonic games. I've always loved werewolves, but not as sure about the game. Well, I might borrow it if one of my friends have it.
