I lied. I did play it. Mercifully, it did not last long.
In and of itself, it wasn't terrible enough to warrant some grand pledge of hatred. However, it does still suck. The parody itself does not work at all, it is not genuinely serious but pretends to be serious and overly dramatic, and as such the parody is forced and contrived. You will not laugh once while playing this game. Instead, you're left with a fifth rate clone of FF VI with horrendous sound and art design (one of the FF series' best points early on) and a presentation that feels tacked together sloppily.
So yes, a total failure: hooray for more shitty indie devs! I die a bit on the inside knowing that people will actually pay for this trash.
