Samus has her basic suit, rockets, ball, bombs, dash and her super jump.
Link has boomerang, Master Sword, bombs, bow/arrows, fire/ice magic, mirror shield.
Can Link fend off the ultimate bounty hunter?

Link can win but more often Samus wins based on better weapons and armor.

If Samus goes in for close range then she'll be dusted.
Hopefully she'll keep her distance, but even then it's going to take a lot to put Link down.

Link is basically a walking plot device, people need to specify more with what he has/doesn't have. (not saying you didn't, but in general)

That is True Magic is almost the end al be all of everything Well it's just that the writers/developers make it into whatever they want it to be... it can be made to fit into any story without limits. |

In "link to the past" he does have some nice magic that fills the screen. Samus is probably fast enough to get out of it though, and if not her varia or gravity suit will take it just fine. I'd say her charge attack is about the same power or more than gannondorf's lightning ball which knocks out like three or four hearts. So she can probably drain his whole bar with a super plasma missile combo. And then, if link gets to use his fairies, samus gets her energy tanks. it's win win for samus. link is screwed 10/10 In a sense yeah, because he can use invincibility spells (though they eat his magic bar up real quick). but that's it. Let's see, link at his best would have all those super spells from link to the past, golden sword from lttp, fierce diety mask from mm, magic armor from ww. din's fire and nyru's love from oot. Of course we can't forget that when link is drinking something out of a bottle time stops all around him so samus can't do anything about it!  give link all these things plus standard equip, let him use FD mask simultaneous with other items, give him 4 blue magic bottles (let him stop time), 20 hearts, extended magic bar, the works. I don't care. Samus still wins! |

oh wait but with chateau romani, he wins . then he'll have infinite magic to sustain a nyru's love (invincibility spell) and just keep tossing out spells... geez that is soo cheap. |

Samus' armor should be able to handle Link's magic.
Link could slash her but she would have to get in range first. That won't happen.
