And at the time Ryu at full potential unlocked was considered Uber Godlike, however, I think that that part was overhype to the max.

I think people considered it slightly above what Akuma was at his max, which I think is fine. Not sure if it would be a Darkstalker character though.

It was hard to tell from what was being said, Akuma is already sinking islands, cracking mountains, and resurfacing sunken ships from the bottom of the ocean with a kick...

But Dante and him, that was pushing the scale to huge levels.

Honestly, I could have used MVC2's Abyss in place of Onslaught and acheive the desired effect anyways, I just like MVC's Onslaught more, he looked badass.

Although he does seem to have all the elements under his control, his background is a temple, and thje pillars are held up by shperes of different kinds of energies...

He manipulates a versatile form of blue energy that can take properties of virtually any form of energy from what I seen. He's used it to make: Flame, Electricity,Laser, and etc. His body is composed of slime that can take any form. I dunno his origin, though.
