Gears is an ignorant, arrogant c0ckheaded moron that deserves to be put out of everyone's mysery...
I did particularly like how you Azure, put him in his place on who brought Night Terror's power to light.... that was brilliant.

He certainly acts like a shining example of stupidity... but he's definitely a follower when it comes to knowlege with anything besides Tecmo games.
Fucking fanboy... #ignore1we#

Well, I reckon we forget about gears and KMC (However difficult it is to do). It may piss us off about what happened. But, the place isn't the same , there are so many fanboys from what I've seen. It isn't worth going there, since we have this fine establishment. And, because it's time to move on. . .seriously, we had fun back in our era. But, all things must end. I reckon I'm just gonna stop bringing up gear and gamesversus. At first I needed to blow some steam, but now it's time to keep moving.

Back on topic, what are your thoughts on this remo? Do you think Shin gouki could defeat Sephiroth?

yeah...
1.Gouki split Aeyers Rock in 4 places, I think that pretty much out does Sephiroth in strength.
2. Gouki has the Asura Senku as a speed manuever, still don't know if he's as fas as Sephiroth though, but no slow poke at all.
Seph has some nice tricks but I really don't remember any feats Sephiroth has that matches destroying a battle ship by KICKING it...OUT OF THE OCEAN!!!
Not to mention Gouki can survive 3000 leagues under the sea, does Sephiroth have any feats matching that durability?

Short of the more devastating spells, I can't think of anything Seph has in his arsenal that matche's Akuma's power.... it takes high end double digit megatonnes to low triple digit megatonnes worth of power per square inch at the very least to sink an island.

Which makes me wonder how hard he can punch. I remember Gears trying to discredit it because he was saying it took a technique to do it. What isn't a technique?

Doubl to triple digit megatonnes PSI is equivelant to a large city or state getting destroyed by a nuclear explosion Basically, picture Texas being nothing but a crater, and you have your answer. Remember, Akuma sank the island, not by just cracking the bedrock to rubble, but it caused earthquakes and volcanic activity.

Oh I figure he can hit harder than he did in Alpha at full power, I was more curious about how hard he could hit just in a "normal" punch.

How much psi would it take to split Ayer Rock in halves, Darkstorm? I'm curious, becuase I would like to know how much force is generated by his Kongokouretsuzan.

Thats a little different, because it's a cutting attack...
It would be considerably less than the island sinker though, if you look carefully, the rock was carefully calved straight in half without damaging the surrounding countryside. meaning it's damage capability might simply be more focused on a more precise area.
I'd guestimate roughly low to mid double digit megatonnes? Like bitween 20 and 50.
It's very difficult to guage a cutting attack in comparison to a solid blunt impact.

Yes, because the application of pressure is different, cutting is much more pressure in less area. Which is why it's generally easier to cut into something than to mash into it (although a fist isn't fully flat when it's blunt.)

True, but I'm inclined to say that he used considerably LESS force when he cracked ayers rock, because for one, even though a cutting attack goes deeper than bulnt force trauma does, he caused no volcanit activety, and the only tremmors that where evidenced, where from the rock breaking apart.
