Geese grinned when he heard the news from one of his subordinates.
His head filled to the brim with prospects of the future. As he pondered, he approached the window of his ominous Sky scrapper.
Geese: "To think that a powerful Street Fighter like him has entered my city!"
He dismissed the timid man and began to contemplate his next move. Always cold and calculating, Geese decided to spend the rest of the afternoon in deep thought. He knew that if he were to aquire that man, all of his opposition would vanish.
Geese: "Looks like the strongest of earth are gathering. . .he will join, I'll see to that personally. The Good of Muay Thai will either lend me his power die!!"
Geese downed in his traditional warrior garment sets out for the expedition of his life.

Ditto, the guy withstood massive amounts of punishment, and Sagat hasn't really demonstrated anything to me other than stopping Psycho Ryu.

Despite being undefeated world Champion who defeated the previous God Of Muay Thai as a teenager? He's also considered to be bison's peer in Street Fight II. I think Geese will win as well, but he works for it.

-Atom Ant Out
I agree completely, Geese pulls about 7/10. I just put him slightly higher than Sagat, but slightly lower than Bison.

-Atom Ant Out
Don't get me wrong... he is definitely all that, BUT, he also still lost all of it to Ryu, a kid with psychological problems at the time (IE: the Evil Intent) And I don't think he was Bison's equal... Not by a long shot.

I did this thread too on KMC. Only I did it like this:
The King of Southtown versus The Emperor of Muay Thai.
There is a kickboxing tournament being held in Southtown. Of course, Southtown's resident kickboxers, Joe Higashi, Hwa Jai and King are competing.
Unfortunately, the tournament has a unexpected guest. The three kickboxers turn to the entrance, where Sagat, dressed in a pair of cargo pants and a hooded coat made his entrance, the general thought that was going through Joe, Jai and King's minds were "Oh, shit."
Sagat has entered the tournament, and showed why he is the Emperor. Hwa Jai wasn't a challenge. Joe was too cocky, but King reminded him of Adon when he was his pupil and not his enemy.
However, Geese Howard has heard of Sagat's appearance in Southtown and decides that he would be a good addition to his organizarion. He sends Sagat an invitation, to which Sagat refuses, saying that he serves no one.
Geese doesn't like it when people refuse him, so he challenges Sagat to a match inside Geese Tower, which Sagat accepts.

I remember giving Geese the majority here, but I thought that Sagat made him work for it. Geese 6.5 out of 10.

Sagat is really powerful, don't get me wrong. But, he tends to let his rage overcome him to make brash choices. I dunno if he's changed and is more focused now a days. But, all in all, if he lets his rage dominate his judgment, he's bound to lose like he did against Adon.

Sagat ftw. Ryu's a tough mofo & he had to basically cheat him to beat him(canon). Geese basically just loses nonstop.

Good to see you in greener pastures, mane. Anyway, I think if Geese causes Sagat to throw a hissy fit like in Alpha 2. Then he's got this one in the bag, Sagat ain't much for stayin' calm.

Who do you think will win in a ranged fight?

Well, Geese's Ki projection is a lot more lucid. Which is usually an indicator to versatility in Ki attacks. Unlike Sagat's which has to be focused in order to be used as attacks. Geese can just throw Ki out in a similar fashion as Nash. This means he can spam alot easier than Sagat, which goes without saying. Though, Sagat seems to have more notoriety in the projectile spamming department. So, I would give it to sagat, unless you were not reffering to extreme projectile range.

Well that depends on if you mean game wise versus "real" wise.

Sagat's projectiles seem way faster. If Geese somehow did start winning, he'd just stop & tell Sagat to hit him w/his best move. Then Geese'd run for his life.

Also, forgot to mention that Geese has counters that could give Sagat a hard time. Bison was considerably weaker in that tournament, but I don't see Sagat as his equal. I don't know if it was during Alpha 2 or Street Fighter 2 that statement was made. IMO, Sagat's power rivals Bison in certain area's like fighting ability, but just not overall. Bison can augment his power level with tech and what not which makes him more powerful in the long run. I just wish we could see what Sagat is capable of beyond Street Fighter 2.

imo, I give it 2 Sagat. geese has no feats and nither does sagat but sagat looses do 2 plot devices and has excuses, tired and dumb excuses but excuses non the less. Geese gets pwned a guy with no feats in a fair fight while sagat "cheaply" loss 2 a guy with decent feats in a cheap fight.
