I only had the SF: II, and alpha movies. Are you enjoying 2v? It is good, but acting totally sucks. I think I am just going to watch it in Japanese because I can't stand them. What I don't understand in ep. 3 is why is there a redneck helicopter pilot in Hong Kong? Also, if Ken wasn't always hitting on all the ladies, I would have thought they were gay.

I thought the acting was great, with a variety of characters. I guess that guy just works and lives in Hong Kong. It gets better though, and deeper.

Well, you complain about the voice acting in Advent Children (which I thought it was a whole lot better than this). Despite the acting, I like the show a lot. I Particularly like it when they just stick Akuma in at random places.

Akuma is cheesy in all of his games. He does wayyy too much damage, his priority is the highest, and he has secret moves that he can do. Gameplay wise you can't even move when fighting him and he just tries to chump you in the corner.

Plus, I play 3 rd Strike, and I think they weakened him down some. For one, his shungokusatsu only does half of what he does in other games. It so hard to hate Akuma, after watching a few episodes of SF: II v. Seeing him just appearing in random places throughout the show is hilarious.

I thought you were talking about CPU Ken... but Akuma generally has alot more options and moves for every situation. Most people don't use shungokusatsu in serious matches. Alpha 3 Akuma did a half bar, SF3 does more and goes a full screen and faster. Now SNK Shin Akuma has that much power but has a damage handicap when the player plays him. Ken is on a higher tier than Ryu and Akuma gameplay-wise. I don't hate Akuma, he's my man right behind Ryu.

Do any of you know who Steven Jay Blum is? If you don't, he is probably one of the coolest acters ever. I just found out that he played Dhalsim in SF: II v(credited as David Lucas), Ken in SF: Alpha, and T. Hawk in SF: II. You will aso know him as Vincent in Advent Children, and Mugen in Samurai Champloo. Maybe CPU Akuma, but a character is only as cheap as the person playing the character. I saw that movie, but CPU Akuma cheats a bit more... he gets quite nasty and oily.

Just to let everyone know the rest of the second disc in SF: II v works fine. It just seems like the first two episodes that are on that disc have all the problems.
