he good to and I feel he underated by some. All of your faves are underrated aren't they? He's powerful, but he can't best the strongest fighters in a straight up fight, he does have a very powerful weapon. yes the anima ones are. like full metal alchimest younger brother Al. he better then the older brother yet most would sya other wise. the monk has no need to his other abilities more then make up for it. also he amazing fast he can kept up with most any of the demonds

He also has a force field, wind tunnel amoung others He has good physical abilities, just worse than the demons and Sango, but better than Kagome's. He is powerful, but of course the Wind Tunnel is restricted by plot, and then he loses it in the end if Naraku is destroyed. Have you seen all episodes?

He has good physical abilities, just worse than the demons and Sango, That is not true. In strength perhaps, but not in agility and reflexes He has no trouble keeping up with inyuasha when they first met and fought. He never ounce not been able to keep up with a demand well in combat. He is easily more agile then Sango he how ever is not as strong. He would defeat her quite easily in combat. He is powerful, but of course the Wind Tunnel is restricted by plot, and then he loses it in the end if Naraku is destroyed. Have you seen all episodes? Not all, but most.

He isn't as combat ready and physically fit as Inyasha who keeps up with Kiara. He isn't as fast either, he can predict attacks but he isn't facing any of those fast demons alone for long. He won't defeat Sango in combat without his Wind Tunnel either.

He has kept up with inyuasha before. He also fought the claw guy from the group of 7.( what ever they were called). The claw guy was also the fastest or second fastest of the group. He won't defeat Sango in combat without his Wind Tunnel either. Yes he would. He faster and extremely skilled with his staff. He has many other magical abilities. He can summon a force field at will, through magical cards, ect

Miroku doing something once doesn't mean it'll happen every time, Inuyasha has outran the group more than a member has kept up with him, so Miroku doing it once doesn't really weigh as highly as evidence.

He usually just buys time until Inuyasha gets there. He can't beat Sesshomaru in combat, nor Inuyasha, nor Sango. With just his staff he cannot beat Sango. Using Magic isn't hand to hand. Kagome beats Inuyasha in that case.

If I had to pin down a single favorite, I'd say Fullmetal Alchemist, though I like the manga much more than the anime. Although, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion comes in as a close second.
Remember: Support the Rebellion, buy Pizza Hut.

My favorite is The Big O. No contest. We all like the Big O... if you know what I mean... Nevertheless I like Inuyasha because it is a good balance of humor and action, along with memorable characters.

Inuyasha was repedative. Personally, I feel that I have grown apart from Inuyasha and DBZ. Actually I never like Inuyasha, although I only saw the dubbed version. Animes tend to be alot better in the fan-subs. I actually like Naruto now. My favorite right now are Chobits, Eureka Seven, Bleach, Naruto, and Trigun. Full Metal Alchemist and Cowboy Bebop are really good as well.

You couldn't have seen much of it because the plots and characters change significantly throughout. It's not like DBZ where it's repetitive. All of those Animes you listed, particularly Naruto has a tendency to be repetitive, but so do all shows. I like more anime not released in America, like Love Hina and Green Green (though they have a tendency to be more adult.

True, but Eureka Seven was more of a shoju, as well as Elfen Lied. Shojus have ecome more attractive because of the engaging plot. And don't tell me Inuyasha wasn't repedative. Episode Cap: Inuyasha & Kagome fight, Myroku is perverted, Shippo is tired, Inuyasha finds a demon to fight, Inuyasha uses Wind Scar and it don't work, Kagome fires an arrow and then gets hurt, Inuyasha gets angry and wins somehow. Okay, Naruto is repetitive in the early episodes, but as you get into the 80's to 135-ish it's really good. Also, Shippuden rocks. I don't mind if an anime is release in America so much as to dismiss them. You really just have to watch the subbed un-edited versions; Ranma 1/2 & Mahoromatic couldn't be edited enough to be good, thus they aren't in America.

If you meant shojo, then Elfen Lied is shonen, not shojo.

So if an anime has a good plot then it is for girls? Good plot doesn't classify something as shojo. Also, there is the nudity in the show which will push it more to the shonen side.
I think Death Note has good plot, but it is part of Shonen Jump.

You really just have to watch the subbed un-edited versions; Ranma 1/2 & Mahoromatic couldn't be edited enough to be good, thus they aren't in America. They also had episodes with Koga and Sesshomaru in them, and they had side quests that weren't part of the main plot. Windscar worked often, but later on he developed the Backlash Wave and the Adamant Barrage, (also you have to keep in mind that the manga is different and changed many things before becoming the anime, esp. in America. The parts that are good shouldn't change, but overall the plot does advance. I love an engaging plot, but if you think what you listed makes a show/story repetitive, then that makes most ALL stories like that. 1. Hero has a conflict. 2. Conflict builds. 3. Hero fights conflict, but usually can't win on the same resources alone. 4. Hero learns lesson/ or finds something inside and solves conflict, whether internal or external. 5. Story calms down. This is true in any story for the most part with a hero and that is short. Kim Possible, TMNT, Inuyasha, etc. Naruto tends to be generic, repetitive, and overrated by fangirls and boys. But Inuyasha fangirls can be bad too, so I'll give them that. lol Really... maybe its the blood. I personally think of it as a hybrid, the violence guys like and an engaging plot ot hook girls. You're wierd. So if an anime has a good plot then it is for girls? Good plot doesn't classify something as shojo. Also, there is the nudity in the show which will push it more to the shonen side. I find it funny how the Japanese version of the "kiddy" shows have much more adult content in them.

Yippie! I have a new anime to add to my favorite list. Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) Those of us who watched Chobits will recognize the voice of the character Kyon. He is Sugita Tomokazu, who provided the voice of Hideki on Chobits.
