You haven't played *any* of the DMC games?

Devil May Cry is probably my most favourite Playstation game. I like SSX Tricky, Tekken and Gran Turismo a lot as well - but Dante is probably ons of the most @&&-kicking characters I have ever played with.
Devil May Cry rocks!

He's definitely got the presentation that most characters simply do not have, I'll give him that.

ya i played a few dc games but i never really got my hands on devil may cry Once you watch the intro of the first Devil May Cry you'll be hooked - Dante is so super-cool! He's an ass-kicking, half-demon, elemental-transforming, two-pistol blasting hard guy with an attitude and he's got an answer for everything, whether it's ripping out your guts, riddling you with bullets or hacking you to pieces.

I enjoyed this anime as well. Definitely an underrated hidden gem for people who like the standard 26 episode format.

My only complaints are the lack of DT and Devil Arms. Also, Dante feels like he's not trying most of the time.

He is but in the games he seems more powerful. Alot of video games turned anime the characters seem weaker or not using their full arsenal. Street Fighter various anime had the same problem. The characters didn't seem like they were at 100%

The characters didn't seem like they were at 100% Gameplay and story segregation is very common with media crossovers. SF characters look weaker in game than they do in cut-scenes for example.

The in-game cutscenea have the craziest stuff. Akuma in particular, I remember the debates we had over them on kmc.

Akuma's easy to argue because he has "feats" which is what people go by on comic forums. Most SF characters don't have those abilities shown as they usually just fight. It makes me laugh how people go SF characters are weaker because they're "street" fighters.

They used thesame argument for mk characters. That they were stronger than SF characters because they are Gods.
