The Beast from "Beauty and the Beast" VS Goliath from "Gargoyles". Ohhh... good one. Goliath has that whole "immortal" thing going on though. Beast just waits until it's daytime.

Immortal thing?
Um... they're in the Arctic. Night for six months.

Gargoyles aren't immensely difficult to kill. A skilled human like Macbeth or the Hunter could throw down with them.

But the same goes to Beast when he was fighting the main villain in the movie who was just a human. Beast is very tough but is still vulnerable to normal weapons. I'll give Goliath a 6/10 since he can stay airborne.

But does that really make up for the strength advantage Beast has?

But does that really make up for the strength advantage Beast has? I'd say so, the mobility in this case makes up for the strength because Beast isn't durable enough to be immune to his attacks, but Goliath is mobile enough to avoid Beast's.

But I think Beast has better range. Even if Goliath swoops down, Beast could swat him out of the air.

So, are you saying that they are even sans Goliath's wings? 'Cause I'm not seeing that.

It's still played in syndication.
I think Goliath is a better fighter, has more terrible claws, and can glide. But, Beast has the raw power and longer reach to cancel that out.

I'm not sure. I guess it depends on where they're fighting. I mean, like, in what kind of building.
