Everybody loves this show, but what stands out in it to you?

Its different from the Simpsons as it's more adult and takes humour to a whole new step. I own Season 1-->4 of these aswell.

Its just well put together and while some jokes are reused often they are done in such a way they don't seem to be as reused as they are.
The other things are qwell wriiten characters that are just plain funny.

The random jokes that vary from the incredibly petty, totally uncalled for, and extremely intelligent.
It's not just stupid humor. There are hidden jokes throughout the show to appease those of us that are musical and theatrical buffs as well. They make fun of classic movies and tv shows as much as currents. It's well balanced.

I think the timing of the show is perfect with the comedy, it is really very well written.

For the most part the timing is exact as well.
There are some episodes that you can tell they had a deadline on and needed to get it out ASAP. So the timing isn't quite as perfect as on others.

Family Guy ventures where no Simpsons writer has gone before.
Would be the jist of it.

Peter. It wouldn't be Family Guy without him. I would say the runner-ups are a tie between stewie and quag though.
And yes the timing in that show is flawless.

The old guy who likes Chris, is pretty funny. The Pedophile? He's pretty cool. Did you see the episode when he fought that tree demon?
