Yeah, emulators are perfectly legal. It's the roms that you're not supposed to discuss/post links to. And even then, who's gonna know? But anyway, I have zsnes 1.51, and it runs perfectly. www.zsnes.com/index.php?page=filesOh, okay. In that case, I won't discuss roms. There aren't many SNES games that I want to play, but is there a NDS emulator available somewhere? If I find one, then I'll be joining the dark side next Summer. I have classic Battletoads and Revenge of Double Dragon from Ron. I also have Battletoads Arcade. I'd probably use it more if the comp was in my room that was faster. I remember playing Super Battletoads. I admit that it was bloody and some of the attacks were "too hardcore", but it was fun. I wouldn't mind playing it again... You can't really talk about one without the other, so I won't kill you. Yea you should be fine with Super Battletoads now, that game kicks ass into another dimension. I like the other ones too, despite how others hate the difficulty.

Alright, I won't talk about emulators and roms.
Yeah, Super Battletoads was fun. I'll have to look at some Youtube videos of it because I haven't played it in a long time. Some of the stuff in that game caught me off-guard, to be honest.
The only other Battletoads game I played was the one with Double Dragon in it. It was pretty good.

Lol you should be able to handle it now, it's silly blood and stuff but if you can play Mortal Kombat then you can play that. Battletoads is really fun. And I don't mind you talking about emulators or roms.

Oh, I can handle it. Although I don't usually play "M" rated games, I'm not that affected by blood and violence. It's the dirty tactics that makes me laugh.
It would be great if another Battletoads game gets made. Then again, I'm not sure if they would look right in a 3D world...
Thanks, but I'll make sure not to post links to the roms. If there's a NDS emulator available, then I'll be playing it soon.

No, I don't even think you could earn money in Super Battletoads. I was talking about some of the attack methods that the Battletoads used on their enemies. Yeah, I saw the fake trailer for a Battletoads game on the Wii a couple of weeks ago. It was funny, but the toads looked too big and bulky.

Well, I'll try to be clearer next time.
That review was funny. Seriously, one of the things in the game that cracked me up was the way the Battletoads defeated the giant, muscular rat. I guess the Battletoads will do whatever it takes to win.

I tell ya what he's grabbin', he's grabbing him in the ****ing schlong and punching him in the balls." ROFL.

I wasn't expecting a video game character to do that to somebody in a non-wrestling game, but I guess the Battletoads are truly hardcore.
That line made me laugh for about 30 seconds when I first heard it in his review. I'm sure that the majority of the people who played this game had similar reactions that the reviewer had, but it's understandable.

Yea, that is what makes it so cool, I remember playing it over 10 years ago when we went to see nutty professor. I don't know if this is the first Battletoads I played, because I got every one after that hoping it would be *that* game, although the games were fun nonetheless.

I guess so. Either way, the giant rat's reaction when getting hit down there was priceless.
I didn't know the Battletoads existed until I saw them in that game with Double Dragon a couple of years ago. It was fun, so I decided to play some of the other Battletoads games. Out of all of them, Super Battletoads was my favorite even though it was "more hardcore" than the others.

I'm guessing Mame is the name of an arcade emulator since it was never released on consoles.
I'm very tempted to go to the "dark side" so I can make some rats suffer...

Mame is the most widely known. Kawaks is another good one, especially for NeoGeo games.

Well, I might experiment with those emulators over the Summer. I finally got an mp3, my fighting instructor gave me one to work out with, I use it for that because it's older but less user friendly. I got a newer one for other uses and it plays movies and stuff, score!

Well, you're lucky.
I might get one of those eventually because I'm somewhat tired of carrying a CD player in my pocket.

Well, you're lucky. I might get one of those eventually because I'm somewhat tired of carrying a CD player in my pocket. Well I was going for something just basic like the one I had, with an external usb sticking out and all that good stuff, I didn't want a "pretty" one, as ipods are a waste of money considering their battery life and durability, plus all of those songs you'll never use, however it is mainstream and it's what the kids want. I got mine from Sony and I'm satisfied with it, I'm listening to it now. I really haven't used a CD player in some time (unless I go out of town and that hasn't been in a while). I have my comp in my room and my CD player in my truck, so there wasn't big reason for me to get one, but since I have to work out in the garage now, it helps. After I got one I found more and more uses for it, when I'm eating out, or walking around the mall, seeing as I'm a solitary person by nature.

Well, I've been using the same CD player for several years. I just received a new one for Christmas 2008 because my previous one had scratches on it. I agree that most iPods are just a waste of money and it's one of the current trends among teenagers.
I use my CD player for almost everything: doing chores, homework, driving, working out, etc. The on-campus gym at my school gives out free AA batteries to people who use CD players in the gym since there's only a few of us and it's a great way to attract other CD player users.

Yea, they have their ups, I just don't like lugging CD's around and worrying about them being stolen, breaking, or skipping. I got one that used one battery at a time, but Cd's were going out now.

Well, I don't want to be one of those people who follow the crowd and/or indulge in the latest trends just to fit in. The only way that I'll get an mp3 player is if I receive it as a gift or if there was a significant decrease in the price.
A CD player that only used one battery at a time? How big was it?

Normal sized. And I'm like you too, but if you don't get it to fit in then you're not getting it to fit in. No need to try to be different either, especially since in college people are generally doing their own thing anyways. But I'm a different guy like you are myself, so I understand. I just find it so much more useful to simply charge your battery (like I am now) and play it all day, keeping all your songs together and having fast access to them. You can buy one for all of twenty bucks now and it would do the job for you and hold 100 songs, I was at walmart and a saw a 2gb on sale for five dollars more than the 1gb of the same brand. They're common now and advancing fast so you can find one that suits your needs. Only thing is walmart is bad at taking stuff back so I got the $50 dollar one so I could get the 1 year warranty. But you could always get one from Best Buy or something (not sure if that's in your area) or radioshack. I wouldn't get the ipod though, so many other companies make more reliable ones cheaper because they aren't "the thing", makes them work harder. Seriously go check it out.

An update to this. I was at Church Yesterday for our MA party, and I had my music player I listened to while we cleaned up. One dad talked one of his kids into getting a 330 dollar ipod (the kid is twelve, and he said he bought it and his dad paid tax). Don't get me wrong it is a nice machine but too costly for what it's for. It had a big screen and could do all kinds of stuff. I explained that to him that he was paying for the name, as best as I could, because he is a kid of course. Then everybody was asking about mine and the sister of the guy had a Nano ( I think), so one of my friends joked "oooh she got you beat, she got an ipod", and I was like, "Not really because I got much more for less, including radio." Some of the kids were looking at mine, and one of the girls were like, "Meh" (I knew her though and it was more spite). I wanted to explain why ipods were generally a waste of money, but I didn't want to be the grinch either, they were like 9 or so, and they didnt' buy it. Like I told them if someone got it for me I'd definitely use it, I just wouldn't buy it. (although I don't like the whole thing with Itunes).
I was explaining that and the dad kinda looked at me lol. I had nothing personal with the machine I just wouldn't buy it. I was cool with the family but it kinda seemed like it was to show off in a sense. Imagine preteens walking around with these super expensive phones and stuff.
