Welcome to the RP Lady Nightwish and I hope you have a great time.

Although this does bring something I knew we would get to later
MAGIC I almost thought it should be a banned power but as long as one person doesn't try to abuse Magic as they do most of the times in comics it should be fine. Remember even a magic skill of 5 doesn't make you unbeatable or make you be able to perform every trick in the book.

Also please don't try and use magic as a sneaky way to get everyother power in the book. Not saying you would but with Magic it is realyy easy to write up a spell that gives yourself Superstrength, teleportation, shields, and everyother power in the book.

So if you could for the most part try and keep it solely for attacking purposes and very small tricks that would be great.

Of course this is just my opinion on the matter if anyone disagrees then feel free to tell me to shut my mouth and walk away.

Yea, magic can be a bit broken, but in our Rps before I've never known her to use it like that. It should also have a limit that it can be used in.

If she wanted to enhance her strength, she should be able to for a brief period of time. Just like in a game it should be a supporting role, she's done these enough to know not to ruin the fun for everyone, so we should be fine.

Yes but even they if they can they can also pull out a number of spells to do a number of things.

I think that is kind of my point Magic as a power is very broad in what it can do. It seems to be an almost cheap power to take because if you wanted to write it a certain way you could have every power in the book if you wanted to. I think that is kind of what I'm trying to limit. Its to take 5 points in magic and turn it into a whole list of powers.
At the same time I want you to have fun with your character and I have a feeling you would have more fun play with a magical creature.

So all I am asking is if possible would you limit the magic to attacking and basic magical illusions.

Yeah I mean I could take Radaition Power: 5 and its so braod I could in theory use it to make myself have other powers.

Having a spellcaster in the group is fine as long as they exercise limits, if it becomes a problem (which I know it won't) we can change it, like she needed magic to warp here, but it burned her out it keeps the story going. As long as they establish limits with what they use or put a time limit or energy limit on spells it should be fine. Only a newb would make it so bad that it would ruin the RP.

We all have our powers in a broad range, but as long as the story goes smoothly there shouldn't be a big fuss. Which it has, so I'm fine for now.

Alright you make it sound like she knows how to handle something like this so thats fine. So I'll let it go and run with it. As long as it is limited to it's use and as long as it doesn't become a Plot Device it's fine with me.

erm..ok lets get one thing straight c told me to put 5 as he helped me out with the bio. and Sera would use her powers for superstrength or speed. or anything like that.. She isnt a spellcaster who could whip up a easy spell to wipe everyone out. She is just a wiccan with certain magical traits like fireballs and laviaton.. But everytime she uses her magic she would become weak and need to rest

Oh no it wasn't just the 5 in it, it could have been a magic of 1 and I probably would have said something about it.

Magic was just that one power I was kind of dreading popping up because it also inlcudes so much baggage with it but after what you and CM said if its limited and not a Plot Device I'm fine with it.

This is pretty cool, my first rpg, i enjoy it, i always had this character in my head since middle school, even wrote papers about him for creative writing in english class, now i have the chance to "be" him. Can wait to kick some ass...
